After awakening powerful twin Martial Souls and joining Nuoding Academy, Zhong Li traveled to Suotuo City, where he intervened in Dai Mubai’s confrontation with Zhu Zhuqing. He entered Shrek Academy as a level 42 auxiliary Soul Ancestor, helped the other applicants pass Zhao Wuji’s test, and began settling in among the teachers and students.

• Zhong Li awakened the Wind Element God's Eye and Vortex of Thunder with level 20 Innate Soul Power, and Zhong Tian warned him to conceal his second Martial Soul and the word “god.”
• Zhong Li obtained two Purple Soul Rings from sacrificing Wind Element Slimes, gained the Wind of Wings External Soul Bone, and reached level 29 before enrolling at Nuoding Academy.
• At Nuoding Academy, Zhong Li crossed paths with Tang San and Xiao Wu, while his family’s protectors drew Tang Hao away and defeated him in the wilderness.
• Zhong Li traveled toward Suotuo City and watched Zhu Zhuqing flee her pursuers, then arrived at the Rose Hotel as Tang San and Xiao Wu confronted Dai Mubai.

• Zhong Li shielded and enhanced Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Zhao Yun during the test, and Zhao Wuji declared them successful after their attacks barely affected him.

Zhong Li left Shrek Academy with Zhu Zhuqing after the academy’s conflict with Yu Xiaogang and Tang San, then traveled to Heaven Dou City. There, Xue Beng revealed his political ambitions and asked Zhong Li for support against Xue Qinghe.

• Zhong Li warned Ma Hongjun that his mutated Martial Soul could threaten his mind, then outlined remedies for the problem.
• At the Suotuo Great Soul Arena, Tang San and Xiao Wu lost their matches and were badly injured, while Zhong Li left with Zhu Zhuqing.
• Zhong Li killed the Evil Soul Masters You Ying and You Meng with a summoned meteor and gave their Right Arm Bone to Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhong Li strengthened Zhu Zhuqing and brought his family’s power into the open, then led a new team through the tournament after breaking with Blue Tyrant Academy. The Dragon Team established its dominance, while Zhong Li prepared for a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring and the other academies began to fear facing them.

• Qian Renxue entered Xue Beng’s private room disguised as Xue Qinghe, and Zhong Li declined her invitation to stay at the Crown Prince Residence.
• Zhong Li wrote Xue Beng the Peach Blossom Nunnery Song, prompting Xue Beng to abandon his wastrel act and apologize to the women he had harassed.
• Zhong Li led Zhu Zhuqing to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where she absorbed the Nether Flower and transformed her martial soul into the Nether Envoy.
• Zhong Li lifted the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well with Ruo Tuo’s help, then helped Zhu Zhuqing obtain a spatial Soul Ring and raise her strength before they returned home.

In a new universe, Zhong Li established his power and warned off Carl and the Taotie invasion, leaving Earth protected from the approaching attack.

• Huo Wushuang’s defeat secured Blazing Fire Academy’s victory, and the Dragon Team advanced to the semifinals before Evil Soul Masters ambushed the delegations on the road to Spirit City.
• The Evil Soul Masters killed Ning Fengzhi and several academy deans, but Chen Xin broke through to level ninety-seven and slaughtered the remaining attackers.
• Esdeath defeated the Star Luo Royal Academy alone, while Tang San escaped to the forest and received protection from the Asura God before a supreme being intervened in the Divine Realm.
• Zhong Li executed Xia Rilang and subjected Wang Wu to punishment, then the Dragon Team won the tournament as Bibi Dong learned that the Rakshasa God Trial had vanished.
