Background / History

Oscar was an orphan taken in by Flender and raised at Shrek Academy. There, he operated a sausage cart and was made to use a lecherous soul incantation while selling and producing his food-type Soul Skills. He had become accustomed to being ridiculed for his appearance and work, including being unable to afford a razor. 27

During Shrek's “adaptation” lesson, Qian Mo publicly challenged the academy's treatment of Oscar and recognized his innate talent. Qian Mo offered him the Ancient God of Food Record, promising Martial Soul Hall resources and a path to become the continent's first God of Food. Oscar rejected Tang San and Dai Mubai's pleas to remain at Shrek, kicked over his sausage cart, and pledged himself to Qian Mo. 27
