The airship, like a steel behemoth suspended in the heavens, hovered silently above the edge of Mount Coronet, casting a vast, ominous shadow.

On the plateau, the Pokémon hiding among rock crevices and grass held their breath. They could clearly make out the outline of that colossal thing, and fear coiled around their hearts like Tangrowth's vines.

Houndoom threw back its head and let out an unwilling roar, blasting scorching flames into the sky. Yet when they struck the airship's sturdy hull, they scattered uselessly, failing to leave even the faintest mark.

This creation, which incorporated the Kingdom of Azoth's most advanced technology, was not something ordinary attacks could shake.

This airship could practically be considered part of the Kingdom of Azoth's royal family. It would be absurd if it could be destroyed so easily.

Standing on the deck, Yan Yang could faintly hear Houndoom's furious roars from below, but given his position and circumstances, he had no way of knowing what was happening down there.

His heart burned with anxiety. He wanted nothing more than to shout for his companions to flee this land that was about to become hell, but he knew that would only alert the enemy and might even make them act sooner.

But he couldn't just stand by and watch the Ultimate Weapon activate. He had to find a way to stall!

Yan Yang's mind raced. Thought was a realm the restraint ring could not imprison.

His mouth apparently wasn't within the range of the forced synchronization either. That was at least one small blessing amid this disaster.

Why hadn't Entei and the others arrived yet? Something must have gone wrong on Cosmog's end.

Even at full speed from that Secret Base, it would take at least two and a half hours... one kun hour.
