A Visit to the Dragon Family

It was time to set out for Agate's family.

This thought had lingered in Yan Yang's mind for a long time—participating in the Dragonblood Trial that the Dragon Family was about to hold, seeking the opportunity for Armorouge's long-delayed evolution.

Even if it still could not evolve in the end, they could at least gain more professional and in-depth insight and help in that ancient place of inheritance.

"The Dragonblood Trial," Agate repeated thoughtfully. "You want to use our family's ritual to investigate the root cause of Armorouge's blocked evolution? Hmm... that is indeed an idea worth trying."

"The essence of the Dragonblood Trial is to awaken the potential deep within a dragon's bloodline and test the depth of its bond with its trainer. In that state of bloodline resonance and full release of power, it can sometimes reveal obstacles that are usually difficult to detect."

She readily agreed to Yan Yang's request, then immediately stressed some of the rules of the family's ancient inheritance grounds.

"Do I... need to be very well-behaved?" Yan Yang blinked.

As he spoke, he released the protagonist of this journey—Armorouge—from its Poké Ball.

In order to focus on finding an opportunity to evolve, Armorouge had already arranged its club duties and temporarily gone "on leave."

Agate's eyes immediately lit up when they fell on Armorouge.

Almost instinctively, she wanted to use the family's Dragon Tamer Power to sense and communicate with it.

But Armorouge merely gave her a faint glance, the pride and aloofness in its eyes unmistakable.

Agate could only suppress the urge. What a proud dragon.

"Wait..." Agate suddenly thought of something. "Since my family follows my matches, they definitely watched that league battle too. Although my own performance in that match was not especially outstanding, they absolutely saw what you did."
