The many world leaders fixed their eager eyes on the city. They wanted to know what could possibly drive those damned creatures out of their countries!
The footage switched to the city. It was in ruins, but the bodies strewn across the ground were all Tentacle Monsters!
This had never happened in any other city. Usually, human casualties lay everywhere, while Tentacle Monsters swept through unchecked.
"Commander! Congratulations to you and your brave soldiers on your victory over the aliens. Can you tell me what made this victory possible?" a world leader asked amiably.
"Two people! A man and a woman! They're not human—they're gods, their whole bodies shining with golden light, and countless Divine Messengers are helping them fight. Those damned crawlers don't stand a chance against them. Hahaha!" the commander shouted excitedly. He ordered his soldiers to pack up the bodies and ship them to Britain for dissection and analysis.
"Switch the feed." The US President and the chairman of Ding Country exchanged a glance, both realizing that the two people from Ding Country were most likely responsible.
They seemed like Divine Messengers who had fallen from the heavens, rescuing humanity from the depths of extinction one step at a time.
Their power was limited, and against the raging fires of war across Europe, it seemed like a drop in the bucket. But at least they were setting an example, giving people hope. Faced with the sight of Tentacle Monster corpses strewn everywhere, even the most pessimistic had to admit—

Golden light shone all over them. Unexplained halos flashed from time to time. Wherever the young man went, the swift Tentacle
