With an endless supply of the Power of Faith, Kirk's lightsaber had become the Sword of God. Every time he swung it, he inflicted another wound on the Kirin monster.

In the universe, every species had its own way of surviving. The Cosmic Zerg relied on their powerful bodies and had nearly driven the God of the Universe to despair. But they had no Power of Faith and couldn't produce gods—their Mother Queen was their god.

Intelligent lifeforms like Earthlings, though **frail, could rely on technology to build powerful fleets and ground-based weapons to fight the Zerg. The constant streams of lasers and missiles were proof of humanity's strength.

But humanity's greatest strength came from emotion and faith!

The love that made people protect their families, partners, and children; the desire to defend their homes and countries; their love of life and their reluctance to lose it; their faith in a better future; their trust in Superheroes. These positive emotions and beliefs were things that even the mighty Cosmic Zerg couldn't understand, much less possess.

That was why the Cosmic Zerg were so astonished by the sight before them: though they were at an overwhelming disadvantage, humanity's armies and soldiers still fought to the death and refused to retreat. They would rather use ineffective human-wave tactics and suicide attacks than give up the fight.

The Kirin monster looked at the wound on its chest and roared. "Even if you have some strange, inexplicable power, you still can't stop my Zerg army! I'll tell you the truth: the Mother Queen has ordered the entire race to attack! A million Zerg will soon descend on your planet! With the Mother Queen, who controls time, and several commanders, none of you will survive! Even our Vanguard will be enough to trample Earth."
