The Divine Status Fragment bounced its way over to Fenrir's mouth.
Should it eat it or not?
That was the question.
Fenrir's instincts told it that something was wrong. Just like back then, when the gods had invited it into Asgard and provoked it by saying it wouldn't dare crawl into Gleipnir. It had crawled in—and ended up trapped.

At the thought, Fenrir could no longer restrain its greed. It had never feared anything, and with a quick lick, it swallowed the Divine Status Fragment.
Even if it was poisoned, what could mortal poison do to it?
"It really ate
