Ragnar Lothbrok and the other Vikings, including the Shield Maiden, wept aloud. Their homes were in the mortal world, and the catastrophic flood Loki had unleashed would surely destroy their tribe. How many of their families would survive? Especially their son and daughter. Ragnar frantically grabbed his axe and was about to go after Loki, but the Shield Maiden stopped him.
"But even these floods aren't enough to destroy Asgard!" Brunhilde still refused to give up, staunchly defending her Divine Kingdom.
"Loki ordered Jörmungandr to unleash the flood not to drown Asgard, but to transport his forces there quickly!"
As if to prove him right, a vast ship of the dead burst through the raging waves and appeared atop a towering crest!
"The Naglfar, a ship made from the nails of the dead!" Little Fatty cried. "Could it be Hel, that deathless old hag?"
"No!" Wang Han scanned the enemy's true form. "There's no one at the bow directing the dead, but the ship is indeed carrying countless undead warriors. Fate must be driving them to take revenge on the gods!"
As it passed through Jotunheim, the great ship of the dead, riding the crest of the waves, actually stopped atop a mountain peak.
That was where the Frost Giants had gathered!
The Frost Giants seemed to have known the flood was coming in advance. They had moved to higher ground ahead of time to board the ship.
Before long, tens of thousands of Frost Giants had climbed aboard the Naglfar.
The Naglfar must have been a treasure ship like Skidbladnir, with a spacious interior that could never be filled. Even tens of thousands of Frost Giants all managed to fit inside.
Then the Naglfar set off slowly, heading swiftly toward the Rainbow Bridge.
Countless other ships followed behind it.
