For eleven hours, Sulexi and Addis Ababa had both relied on defensive strategies, waiting for chances to launch Sneak Attacks.
Addis Ababa's advantages lay in the shifting tactics provided by his Wild War Drum, the Golden Plot Spear in his hands, and the Combat Hunting Dance Steps he had learned from his tribe, which let him launch attack after agile attack. On top of that, his Hunting Domain could greatly enhance the power of the Wild War Drum. Overall, though, he was an MT who needed a team to reach his full potential. The larger his team, the more powerful Addis Ababa became.
Sulexi, meanwhile, had the slowing Lag Domain and two pieces of Dark Gold Equipment, Sváfnir's Entanglement and Garm's Skull Shield, giving him both strong offense and defense. He also had an endless supply of skills for weakening his enemies.
As a result, the clash between the two MTs had become a grueling battle of attrition. The pace was unbearably slow. Thank goodness it was taking place in a dueling arena; if it had been happening live, the audience would never have been able to sit through it, and the whole place would have been filled with boos.
Overall, however, the more aggressive Addis Ababa had set the pace and kept Sulexi on the defensive. Sulexi's only means of counterattack were the poison from Sváfnir's Entanglement and a Shield Bash with his Dark Gold Shield. But Addis Ababa was an MT himself. How could he have failed to prepare for that?
By the tenth hour, Addis Ababa had managed to bring Sulexi to the brink of death once, forcing him to use his Full Health Potion. The second time, he had left Sulexi gravely wounded—and even taken one of his legs. Once Addis Ababa grew bold enough to
