Old Bai smiled wryly and shook his head. "If we win this Space War, the Earth Alliance will gain abundant resources. Maybe we'll even be able to support an Immortal! I'd rather face the challenge than keep living here as a second-class resident."
Kirk felt much more at ease. No matter what, Old Bai was willing to return to the Earth Alliance and fight as an Earthling. That meant they had one more expert on their side, which reassured Kirk considerably.
It seemed that even after entering God Domain, life wasn't necessarily as glamorous as outsiders imagined. Judging by Old Bai's many complaints, God Domain, ruled by the Universe God Race, didn't think much of experts from other star systems.
Old Bai continued, "The third piece of news is that God Chosen and Old Qing will be returning to Las Vegas with me. Counting you, Wang Han, and my good-for-nothing grandson, that gives us six Conquerors. The Peacock Dynasty also has an old fellow with us named Singh. He told me that one of their trial-takers entered the trial this time. I don't know whether he passed."
Old Bai's words jogged Kirk's memory.
There seemed to have been an Indian Contractor who entered the Jedi Order. Kirk didn't know if he was among the survivors in the end.
Old Bai pondered for a moment. "Since we're going to face the powerful Universe God Race, let's hold a prewar meeting first. The old fellows from the Cultivator Alliance and the Peacock Dynasty, along with the Domain Experts, will all come to your place so we can discuss our strategy together."
Kirk had just hung up when the phone rang again.
This time, it was the middle-aged man from the Space Security Committee.
On behalf of the Space Security Committee, he invited
