Mercury let out a pained roar, and his stone club suddenly burst into motion as he swung it wildly at Kirk!
Kirk nimbly dodged through the rain of blows.
But Mercury was the King of Giants, and he also bore the title of Warlord. With a sudden change in his swing, he brought his club down hard on Kirk!
Though Kirk's [Ultimate Dominance] had reached Level 4, granting him 80 points of Stiffness and an 80% defense increase, he still couldn't withstand Mercury's attack. The blow sent him flying.
"Something's not right." Kirk crashed into a boulder, then struggled to his feet with blood streaming down his face. He spat out a mouthful of blood.
"What is it? Is Mercury too powerful?" Wang Han asked.
"Quite the opposite." Kirk spat to the side. "Mercury's only a little stronger than North Slope. That last hit did less than 400 damage to me. How can someone at that level be the King of Giants?"
"Mercury's fast," Wang Han speculated. "Could your [Ultimate Dominance] be too overpowered? Or is he hiding his strength?"
"Something does seem strange." Sulexi whipped out his Dark Gold Snake Whip, and the entanglement check succeeded!
"[Entanglement] doesn't lie. If it succeeded, that means Mercury's overall strength isn't as high as we imagined." Sulexi used his 210 Strength to hold Mercury firmly in place. His partner Ava understood at once and flashed to Mercury's side. Taking advantage of the blind spot created by the entanglement, she unleashed a furious barrage of attacks, her Amazon Queen spear piercing Mercury's body again and again.
"Come here!" Sulexi roared, veins bulging on his forehead as he yanked hard on the whip.
Mercury was pulled over with a single tug and fell face-first beside Sulexi!
A glint flashed in Sulexi's eyes. Without a
