Kirk burst out laughing. Holding Hermione, he jogged away, escaping Ada's range while chattering on and taking every opportunity to tease her. "I strongly recommend you stop wearing Victoria's Secret. You should wear Amos instead. I love that brand. The style that suits you best is CZ139. You'll like it. Maybe I'll buy you a set next time."
Ada Wong gritted her teeth and roared, "If you ever show your face in front of me again, I'll kill you!"
Kirk was covered in bullet holes by the time he finally escaped Ada Wong's range. She didn't pursue him, so it seemed the spy beauty had only meant to warn him this time. She hadn't wanted to take his life. But if Kirk kept targeting Luis and the sample, the beautiful spy might really turn on him next time.
Kirk regretted it a little. "If Black Widow hadn't died, I should've recruited her. Watching two cool beauties fight would've been great."
Hermione said coolly, "Are you really regretting bringing me along? Want to swap me out? There are plenty of beauties in your Soulstone harem. Hmph!"
Kirk couldn't win an argument against the clever, kind-hearted school beauty, so he resorted to the same shameless tactics he'd used on Ada Wong. He pushed the little beauty down and began kissing her.

After their passionate encounter, Hermione's clothes were disheveled, her beautiful eyes misty. She nestled dreamily against Kirk in a daze. The stars filled the sky, night had fallen, and the forest surrounded them, rustling in the wind. Hermione thought, *If I'd come here alone, I fear I'd have been scared out of my wits. But lying in Kirk's arms now, I feel so wonderfully romantic. The scenery hasn't changed, but my state of mind
