He had barely followed for two kilometers when a crossbow bolt shot toward his back!
Kirk dodged in a hurry, but the bolt was an Explosion Bolt. He could only curse inwardly.
A deafening explosion sent Kirk flying high into the air!
Fortunately, Kirk had Alien Queen blood. Though his flesh was mangled for a while, his injuries were severe but not fatal.
A cold, proud figure appeared atop a large tree ahead.
"I already told you," Ada Wong's cold voice rang out. "If you dare follow Luis again and make a move against him or the sample, you'll be making an enemy of me. I won't go easy on you again."
Kirk gave a loud whistle. "So it's the beautiful Ada! You're awake?"
Ada remembered that photograph, and her face immediately flushed red. Fortunately, they were far enough apart that Kirk couldn't see her.
She gritted her teeth and spoke one word at a time. "You underwear-stealing pervert! I won't let you get away with this!"
She finished speaking, squeezed the trigger, and sent another Explosion Bolt flying straight toward Kirk's face.
Kirk yelled, "After all I've done for you, this is how you repay me?" He jumped three feet into the air, shouting at the top of his lungs.
"I was so kind to save you. I even bandaged your wounds, changed your underwear, and gave you a present!" Kirk shouted as he dodged around like a cockroach.
The Explosion Bolt struck a large tree. Wood chips flew everywhere, and the tree crashed down with a groan, nearly hitting Kirk.
Ada Wong's face reddened. That shameless bastard was shouting their embarrassing business loud enough for everyone to hear.
