What were they dissatisfied with? As survivors, they were already millions of times luckier than their fellow humans who had been roasted to death on Earth. They'd been complaining earlier that they couldn't go back. If the people on Earth knew we had this opportunity, I fear they'd pay through the nose for a ticket into space, even if it were ten times more dangerous!

Jacob of the Chicago Brotherhood flew into a rage and jumped to his feet. Many of the newcomers carrying out the looting and destruction were Black, and they were members of the Brotherhood. They were certainly venting their discontent, but another factor was that they were taking the opportunity to profit from the looting.
As newcomers, the Brotherhood needed to find a distinctive path to rise quickly. This riot had given them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to overtake the five largest teams in space. In a short time, the loot the Black members had seized from around space was enough to produce several Conquerors. In terms of benefits alone, they were the biggest winners.
Kirk gave Jacob a cold look and sneered, "So you were the one behind the scenes, directing the Black members to loot and smash things everywhere? Then don't blame me for showing no mercy!"
Jacob's heart lurched.
He might have been lawless, but he'd heard how Kirk had wiped out the Forester Team. And Kirk had broken through after a moment of enlightenment in the central garden. Who wouldn't be wary of him?
Still, he was used to throwing his weight around, and he'd profited enormously. Getting him to bow his head would be no easy task.
