Fire Emperor had seen Little One use it once before, and after that, Little One had fallen asleep from overexertion.

"You're still too young to master this power. It drains your stamina. Don't use it without my permission," Fire Emperor said in a low voice.

Hearing this, Dongshu couldn't help but have a giant question mark pop up over his head.

What was Fire Emperor talking about?

He didn't need to burn his life force or sacrifice his soul to use the system—he just had to spend some Shock Points!

But looking at Fire Emperor's stern expression, Dongshu belatedly realized that Fire Emperor seemed to have misunderstood something.

He tried to explain, but all that came out were babbling sounds, so he had no choice but to give up.

Fire Emperor then turned her gaze to Marshadow.

She was about to say something when she saw Little One grab the leftover milk bottle from before, pour some Moomoo Milk into it, and then hug it as he crawled toward Marshadow.

Seeing this, both Fire Emperor and Marshadow were momentarily stunned.

A guest is a guest. He and Fire Emperor were drinking Moomoo Milk here—how could he let Marshadow just watch them drink?

That would be way too rude.

Thinking this, Dongshu pushed the milk bottle in front of Marshadow.

Watching this, Marshadow froze on the spot.

This human cub... was sharing food with it?

Dongshu looked at Marshadow, who was a little taller than him, and said to it.

Marshadow's face showed obvious surprise. Its mouth slightly opened as it stared in disbelief at the human cub before it.

After a moment, it bent down, picked up the milk bottle filled with the milky white liquid from the ground, then lifted its head to glance at Fire Emperor and her cub before silently sinking into the shadows and disappearing without a trace.

Dongshu grinned. Nice! Marshadow really was his timely rain!

This one move had directly netted him 25 Shock Points. Adding that to the previous 15, and subtracting the 5 he'd just spent on Moomoo Milk, Dongshu still had a "fortune" of 35 points.

Dongshu opened the System Store.

Poké Balls for catching Pokémon, Rare Candy for raising their levels, and Secret Power for building a Secret Base—all of these required a ton of Shock Points. They were way out of reach for him right now.

Compared to those, it was far better to exchange for something more practical for his current situation.

Like a soft, comfortable bed and bedding, a new set of clothes, a convenient toilet, a door to block the wind, and cooking utensils.

With a thought from Dongshu, items that met his needs appeared in the store.

But the one thing worth being happy about was that there were so many fully functional daily necessities here. Even if he never returned to a human city and lived with Fire Emperor on Heavenly Green Mountain, he could still be self-sufficient.

Thinking this, Dongshu searched the store again.

Dongshu glanced again at the Trainer section's shop.

100,000 Shock Points?

The only scenario Dongshu could imagine was a level 99 Pokémon going to level 100.

But then again, the real world had no concept of levels, and a Pokémon's strength fluctuated based on various factors—like the bond with its Trainer, also known as a power burst. He had no way to gauge it.

"I've got to find a way to rack up some Shock Value," Dongshu murmured to himself.

Leaving the Trainer section aside for now, he at least needed to improve the living standards for himself and Fire Emperor.

If only he were in the human world.

But with his body being so young, he couldn't just ride a Legendary Pokémon and show off in front of ordinary Trainers to earn Shock Points.

That meant he had to figure something out with the Pokémon around him.

So the question was—he'd already earned some Shock Value by peeing on Fire Emperor. If he waited until Ho-Oh returned to Heavenly Green Mountain and then peed on Ho-Oh, would he earn even more?

No... that would probably get him killed by Ho-Oh, wouldn't it?
