As the site of Arlong's headquarters, their village had endured the worst oppression. They had suffered under his tyranny for far too long, and at last, Cocoyasi Village was free.
There had been a few little complications, but fortunately, everything had been resolved.
The great villain Kisame Hoshigaki had seen the error of his ways before Coach Mai and decided to join the Straw Hat crew. It was a happy ending for everyone.
The overjoyed villagers didn't hold back any of the few good things they had left at home. It was time to celebrate.
Already ravenous, Luffy cheered, "Great! Let's have a banquet! A banquet!"
His carefree attitude rubbed off on Usopp, who had been a little worried, and he joined in the cheering.
Everyone in the village gathered in the clearing on its outskirts. One household brought a table, another brought two stools. Those good with their hands prepared food together, while the men carried over the liquor they hadn't yet handed over as tribute to Arlong's crew.
