Hit By a Meteor and Transmigrated

On the rooftop of an apartment building in an open city in a southern coastal province of Huaxia, a young man in his early twenties, wearing a white t-shirt and greyish-brown shorts, lay listlessly on a chair leaning against the railing, weakly fanning himself with a folding fan.

Unexpectedly, before he could even reach his dorm, he'd been hit with a bolt from the blue: a power outage in his area due to unspecified reasons.

Looking at the pitch-black night sky above the city, illuminated by the city lights, Ye Yun thought of his childhood. He remembered that even though they had an electric fan at home, his parents often took him to the rooftop to cool off to save electricity. The night sky back then was truly beautiful, so beautiful. Ye Yun stared in disbelief at the straw beneath him and the walls made of straw and mud. He couldn't understand how he had moved so quickly. In his shock, Ye Yun didn't notice how childish his voice sounded.

"Could it be... Oh my god, I remember now. I saw a shooting star while cooling off on the rooftop and made a wish. Did the Meteor God, angered by my wish, kill me? Am I transmigrating? No way! Although I occasionally complained about my unsatisfactory life, working myself to death without money, only able to eat dirt, I really didn't want to transmigrate!
