Although reinforcing the Insect Totem mainly consumed Zerg flesh, the Source Point cost wasn't particularly high.

And its reinforcement effect had only added a few hundred points to its Attack Strength and Defense Strength.

That was a negligible increase to the Dark Peng's absolute combat power at this point.

Even so, once the Insect Totem's reinforcement was complete,

the Dark Peng's combat rating still broke through to LV.46!

This wasn't unexpected.

In fact,

when he chose to reinforce the Insect Totem,

Wang Dong had already prepared himself for the possibility that his combat rating would no longer be held back.

Because the chance to reinforce the Insect Totem was rare.

In this universe,

there was nowhere for Zerg race groups to survive in the space surrounding the territory controlled by the Kindling Human Civilization.

Any that were discovered would be met with an immediate deployment of overwhelming forces to wipe them out.

And in the Otherworldly Space battlefield,

they had to both carry out Otherworldly Space mining and squeeze as much profit as possible out of the Ouhuang Civilization.

Even though the Dark Peng could enter the Otherworldly Space battlefield up to twelve times a year—

far more often than an ordinary Kindling Warship—

that still wasn't enough.

They couldn't afford to spend those trips blindly searching the Otherworldly Space for Zerg civilizations.

So, even knowing that the Dark Peng's combat rating had already reached the LV.45 limit,

and could break through to LV.46 at any moment,

thereby losing its bonus that doubled Source Point acquisition
