Once the crimson beam had been guided into place and formed a stable connection,

large numbers of assault troops boarded shuttles and passed through the beam.

At tremendous speed, far exceeding that of a normal assault,

they crossed the distance between the Star Destroyer and the Death Strangler.

They quickly landed inside, completing the initial stage of boarding!

The bridge formed by the crimson beam also possessed a certain degree of defensive capability.

At the very least, the Death Strangler's secondary guns couldn't pierce it or damage the shuttles inside.

It was obvious.

This was why the Star Destroyer had risked sinking and endured enormous losses earlier,

all to send large numbers of assault troops into the Death Strangler!

As for the follow-up assault at any cost,

it was meant to draw the attention of the assault troops inside the Death Strangler

and divide their forces!

when the large numbers of assault troops sent by the Xitu Federation later boarded the Death Strangler,

they faced almost no resistance in the short term!
