The reason they had appeared in the Galiford Star System
was that, not long ago, during a raid,
the Xinzhu Group had encountered the remnants of a level-four insectoid race. With frontier patrols around, an organized insectoid race had little chance of making it into the heart of Kindling Human Civilization territory.
So the Xinzhu Group had run into only a small band of survivors from a level-four insectoid race, and they had been on the run from pursuers, too.
Relying on two veteran battleships and a measure of ferocity,
the Xinzhu Group had managed to hold out until official reinforcements from the Kindling Human Civilization Alliance arrived.
Could they claim credit for it? Not really.
But they had certainly put in some effort.
Using the footage left behind by the battle,
the Xinzhu Group had successfully made connections with a high-ranking figure in the Blue Eagle Federation. Of course, there had been no avoiding the "fees"—the group had practically emptied its coffers.
At last, they had gotten the chance to go straight!
The Jia Family had lost its biggest trump card. It no longer had any right to keep ruling the Galiford Star System.
Yet it still refused to relinquish its grip.
That kind of greed and shortsightedness was a sin in itself.
And so,
the Xinzhu Group had naturally toppled the Jia Family.
Compared with the Jia Family, which had enjoyed years of peace,
the Xinzhu Group was vastly superior in combat strength, fighting spirit, and training.
Even with the home-field advantage of a main planet defense line they had spent years building,
the Jia Family had still been defeated by the Xinzhu Group.
For the sake of maintaining order in the future,
the Xinzhu Group had not followed the usual practice of burning, killing, and looting throughout
