Acquisition

• Kindling Warships primarily earn Source Points by destroying targets in otherworldly battlefields. The points gained depend in part on the ship’s acquisition rate 19 21.
• A warship’s acquisition rate can fall through successive inheritances. A first-generation warship has a 100% rate, while a second-generation warship has a 50% rate 117 163.
• Wang Dong’s Auxiliary System can multiply points acquired. Its Origin Point Acquisition Doubled function reaches triple acquisition at Lv.2 and is later upgraded to tenfold acquisition 433 880.
• The red-quality Legendary Kill trait also grants points for destroying civilization creations in the original universe, at half the acquisition rate of an otherworldly battlefield 973.
• Wang Dong theorizes that Source Points are feedback generated when a Kindling Warship’s destruction in otherworldly space affects the rules connecting it to the original universe; this is his interpretation, not a confirmed explanation 759.

Uses and Limits

• Ship development: Installing, reinforcing, and evolving shipborne modules consumes Source Points. Installing a blue-quality Micro-particle Repair Robot costs 30 points 162.
• Warship evolution: Source Points are a required evolution resource. Under the Origin Point Stacking Method, spending five times the base requirement adds 20 percentage points to the evolution success rate; for the Dark Peng’s Titan Ship evolution, that would mean 100 million points 717.
• Other functions: Source Points can accelerate body-refining cultivation, speed up War Star modification, and support certain module effects 162 163 802 796.
• Storage and transfer: Points are held in a shipboard fire seed and cannot be transferred directly between fire seeds 109 168.
• Kindling Network: A warship can transfer points to the network and receive Origin Coins at a 1:1 ratio, but the network cannot transfer points back into its fire seed. Connections and services also consume points or Origin Coins 109 168 166.
• Origin Coins are not anonymous: Network transactions can leave clues about a warship’s location and activity, making large exchanges a security concern 109 1000.
