Hong Yun joined the Witch Clan as its Thirteenth Ancestral Shaman, uncovered and remade the Great Dao Karma System, then confronted Maitreya for damaging Fire Cloud Cave. He sheltered the displaced beings while Zhun Ti set out to negotiate, and Hong Yun’s Four Symbols Law suddenly fell into chaos.

• Hong Yun and Xuanming developed martial cultivation together, while Zhu Jiuyin’s vision showed the Witch Clan facing destruction and Hong Yun as a possible hope.
• Hong Yun accepted Dijiang’s offer to become the Thirteenth Ancestral Shaman, entered the blood pool, and used Pangu’s Will to expose the Karma Demon God hidden in his system.
• Hong Yun remade the Great Dao Karma System, absorbed the blood pool’s power, and completed his Martial Dao Mark as Dijiang recognized him as the Martial Ancestral Shaman.

After Maitreya’s damage to Fire Cloud Cave sparked a battle with Zhun Ti, Hong Yun broke through to Quasi-Saint and defeated him. The dispute ended with the West’s karma settled, and Hong Yun established Fire Cloud Cave as a sanctuary within his inner world.

• Zhun Ti retrieved Maitreya, whose body and soul had swollen with gray cloud qi, while Maitreya concealed the thoughts it stirred in him.
• Hong Yun demanded compensation for the damage to Fire Cloud Cave, then fought Zhun Ti as Zhen Yuan Zi and Hou Tu protected the land and other powerful beings gathered to watch.
• Zhun Ti sealed Hong Yun’s senses with the Six Roots Pure Bamboo, and Hong Yun used the resulting inner chaos to form a world and advance to Quasi-Saint.
• Hong Yun severed the Six Roots Pure Bamboo’s connection to Zhun Ti, defeated him with the World Seal, and accepted the Eastern Green Lotus Treasure Colored Banner from Jieyin to settle the West’s debt.
• After Zhun Ti withdrew with Maitreya, Hong Yun gathered Zhen Yuan Zi, Hou Tu, Xuanming, and Nu Wa to rebuild the area and refine Fire Cloud Cave into his inner world.

Hong Yun refused to join Di Jun’s Demon Race and set out with Xuanming to find the Twelve-grade World-Destroying Black Lotus. As Di Jun established the Heavenly Court and advanced to Quasi-Saint, Hong Yun found a deep abyss in the Western Boundary that might conceal the lotus.

• Nu Wa gave Hong Yun half of the Innate Xi Rang, which he placed on Treasure Distribution Cliff to nourish the Six Roots Pure Bamboo and Innate Gourd Vine.
• Hong Yun revealed his inner world to Nu Wa, Zhen Yuan Zi, Hou Tu, and Xuanming, then established Fire Cloud Cave as his dojo and explained how he used the laws of his world to reach Quasi-Saint.
• Hong Yun warned Nu Wa that the Myriad Spirits Dao could bring Di Jun’s group into conflict with Hongjun and the Saints, and advised Di Jun to involve influential allies in its fate.
• Di Jun, Taiyi, Fuxi, and Nu Wa founded the Demon Race atop Bu Zhou Mountain, and the Heavenly Dao recognized it and bestowed merit on its leaders and members.

Hong Yun and Xuanming discovered Luohu’s hidden Demonic World beneath the Western Boundary and joined Ancestral Dragon in pursuing the Twelve-grade World-Destroying Black Lotus. Hong Yun secured the lotus and brought Ancestral Dragon to Fire Cloud Cave, where Luohu’s remnant soul emerged from it.

• Hong Yun and Xuanming tracked a shadow through the Western leylines and uncovered Ancestral Dragon, who had disguised himself as a spirit of the earth vein.
• Hong Yun pressed Ancestral Dragon for the Twelve-grade World-Destroying Black Lotus, took his Innate Water Spirit Pearl, and later accepted his offer to search together for Luohu’s remnant soul.
• Hong Yun, Xuanming, and Ancestral Dragon entered Luohu’s Demonic World, where they pursued the lotus as it absorbed demonic energy.
• Jieyin and Zhun Ti moved Mount Sumeru above the abyss and sealed the Demonic World, but the lotus’s killing aura broke through and killed several disciples.
• Hong Yun trapped the lotus again and redirected its killing intent, then took it into his inner world as Jieyin and Zhun Ti entered the Demonic World.
• Hong Yun escaped with Xuanming and Ancestral Dragon, brought them to Fire Cloud Cave, and revealed his identity before giving Ancestral Dragon the lotus as promised.
• As Hong Yun set formations around the lotus, the God-Slaying Spear burst out, and Luohu’s remnant soul appeared before Ancestral Dragon.
