Hong Yun rescued his disciples from East King Duke and demanded the Tong Tian Jianmu Tree as compensation, drawing the Three Pure Ones into the dispute. The Three Pure Ones attacked Hong Yun and Zhen Yuan Zi, while reinforcements began gathering around them.

• West Queen Mother gave Hong Yun the Western Plain Colored Cloud Realm Banner after he advised her on cultivating through the Three Corpses Immortal Path.
• Candle Dragon fought East King Duke to protect the four Huluwa, but East King Duke attacked them and severely injured Huluwa.
• Hong Yun arrived to rescue his disciples, then refused East King Duke’s offer to call their grievances even and demanded the Tong Tian Jianmu Tree.
• Hong Yun trapped East King Duke in a Four Symbols Great Array and battered him as Zhen Yuan Zi protected the injured disciples.
• Hongjun ordered Taiqing to save East King Duke, and Taiqing led Yuan Shi and Tong Tian to the East Sea.

Hong Yun and his allies fought the Three Pure Ones and East King Duke, then secured treasures and strengthened their allies before Hong Yun set out to help Nu Wa. The arc ended with Nu Wa creating living beings and Hong Yun giving her his half of the Nine Heavens Breath Soil.

• Hong Yun fought the Three Pure Ones as Hou Tu and Xuanming joined him, while Zhen Yuan Zi seized Tong Tian Jianmu and the Huluwa discovered the Twelve-grade World-Purifying White Lotus.
• Yuan Shi tried to claim the lotus, but Wu Tian caught it and Huluwa placed it in a treasure gourd before Hongjun ended the battle and ordered everyone to disperse.
• Hong Yun gave Tong Tian Jianmu and the Twelve-grade World-Purifying White Lotus to his Fire Cloud Cave World, then gave Fangzhang Island to Zhen Yuan Zi to strengthen his Earth Immortal Realm.
• East King Duke attacked West Queen Mother, but Hong Yun arrived, shattered East King Duke’s body, and crushed his primordial spirit while fighting the Three Pure Ones.
• Hongjun ordered Taiqing to give Hong Yun the Southern Blazing Flame Banner, and Hong Yun erased East King Duke’s memories before returning his remnant soul to Taiqing.

Nu Wa created humanity and became a Saint, while Hong Yun guided the new race and arranged support from the Houtu Tribe. As humans grew and mingled with the Witches, Hong Yun began forging the Human Dao Seal, while Kun Peng pursued a script and Ancestor Minghe experimented with creating life.

• Hong Yun advised Nu Wa to use the Innate Dao Body as her model, and she created humanity with materials and blood essence before receiving merit from the Heavenly Dao.
• Hong Yun stopped Nu Wa from ascending prematurely and helped her unite her three corpses, after which she entrusted her primordial spirit to the Heavenly Dao and became a Saint.
• Nu Wa left to open a dojo in the chaos, and Hong Yun asked Fuxi to help care for the humans before teaching them and inviting Zhen Yuan Zi to instruct them.
• Hong Yun persuaded Hou Tu to let the Houtu Tribe support humanity, and Xing Tian, Kua Fu, and Hou Yi led Witch Clan members to settle among the humans.
• As humans multiplied and formed families with the Witches, Ancestor Minghe tried to attack a human and Nu Wa destroyed one of his Blood God Sons.

Minghe and Taiqing advanced toward sainthood as the Asura Clan was born and the Three Pure Ones turned to spreading their teachings. Hong Yun guided Kun Peng’s breakthrough, moved the Human Race east, and faced Taiqing over Xuan Du’s future.

• Minghe created the Asura Clan, received Heavenly Dao Merit, and severed his benevolent thought with the Twelve-grade Karmic Fire Red Lotus to become a Quasi-Saint.
• Taiqing grasped the Way of Nonaction, severed his third corpse, and went to investigate the Human Race while Hou Tu helped humans settle among the Witch Clan tribes.
• Hong Yun confronted Taiqing’s interest in the Human Dao Seal, then witnessed Kun Peng create Demon Script and become the Demon Master.
• Hong Yun advised Kun Peng to temper his body instead of severing his remaining corpses, and Kun Peng completed his breakthrough before offering his service to Nu Wa.
• Taiqing, Yuan Shi, and Tong Tian chose to spread their teachings by scattering jade slips, while Hong Yun arranged for the Human Race to migrate east.
