After restoring order, Hong Yun prepared for future calamities, sent Ancestral Dragon into human reincarnation, and Lu Ya reunited with Taiyi.

• Hong Jun attacked the Tong Tian Jianmu Tree, but Hou Tu, Pingxin, and the Ancestral Shamans joined Hong Yun in resisting him as Zhun Ti and the others entered the battle.
• Xing Tian attacked Hao Tian and was beheaded, then rose again and broke through to the Ancestral Shaman realm.
• Hong Yun wounded Zhun Ti while the Tong Tian Jianmu Tree broke, and Ancestral Dragon joined the Human Dao as its Fortune Golden Dragon to help resist Hong Jun.
• Jieyin saved Zhun Ti at the cost of their Saint Positions, then the two founded Buddhism and regained their positions through their Forty-Eight Great Vows.
• Hong Jun withdrew to stabilize the Heavenly Dao, while Hong Yun and his allies repaired the damage and Nu Wa used Five-Colored Stones to mend the heavens.
• Hong Yun prepared Lu Ya to travel in secret, refining the Immortal Slaying Flying Knife for him and concealing his origins.
• Hong Yun reincarnated Ancestral Dragon as a human to prevent the Human Dao from assimilating him, while humanity absorbed his cultivation and gained a Fortune Golden Dragon’s protection.

Hong Yun helped Da Yu secure the human realm, then faced the approaching Investiture of the Gods calamity as rival sects maneuvered to protect their disciples. Xuanwu took Yang Jian and Yang Chan as disciples, while the coming conflict remained unresolved.

• Da Yu married Nü Jiao and allied the Human Race with the Tushan Clan, while Hong Yun offered Taiyi a path for the Yao Clan to expand beyond the Primordial World.
• Hong Yun transformed the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors into a path for Huluwa to achieve Primordial Unity, then attended Hong Jun’s gathering about the approaching Investiture of the Gods calamity.
• Da Yu founded Great Xia, forged the Nine Cauldrons with Hong Yun’s help, and activated the Nine Provinces Barrier to protect human territory and restrain cultivators.
• Da Yu subdued Wu Zhiqi with the barrier, while Hong Yun warned his disciples that they would likely be drawn into the calamity.
• After Great Xia weakened and Tang rose against it, the saints left the Investiture of the Gods unsigned, and Hong Yun warned Tong Tian that Yuan Shi and Taiqing would oppose the Interception Sect.
• Yuan Shi recruited Jiang Ziya and Shen Gongbao into the Chan Sect, while Hong Yun sent Xuanwu to recruit Yang Jian and Nezha for the coming struggle.

Wu Tian took Nezha as her disciple, while Xuanwu protected Su Daji and revealed the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation to her and Di Xin. Di Xin killed Ji Chang and prepared Great Shang for Western Qi’s rebellion, leaving the Primordial Heavenly Lord puzzled by his actions.

• Yuan Hong received the Eight-Nine Arcane Technique, while Wu Tian and Nu Wa arranged for Wu Tian to teach Spirit Pearl Child and the Black Tortoise to teach Yang Chan.
• Wu Tian claimed Spirit Pearl Child as her disciple when he was born as Nezha, and she stayed in Chentang Pass to guide him while he grew up with his parents.
• Primordial Heavenly Lord and Zhun Ti schemed to make Di Xin cultivate with Great Shang’s fortune, but Su Daji eventually shared the method she had received from Xuanwu with the king.
• Xuanwu stopped the Nine-tailed Fox Spirit from possessing Su Daji, killed it, and helped her cultivate its essence blood, though he denied being her master.
• Nezha fought Ao Bing in the East Sea, then apologized after Candle Dragon explained their connection, and Candle Dragon invited Wu Tian and Xuanwu to the Dragon Palace.
• Xuanwu questioned Su Daji about Empress Jiang and learned she blamed Yun Zhong Zi for attacking her fox-spirit bloodline, then told Di Xin and Su Daji about the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation.
• Di Xin summoned Ji Chang to Chaoge, imprisoned him, and killed him before ordering the Western Qi party killed and Grand Tutor Wen summoned back.
• Di Xin told senior ministers that Ji Chang had been chosen by the Chan Sect to overthrow Great Shang, and they prepared to face Western Qi’s rebellion while Primordial Heavenly Lord wondered why Di Xin had killed Ji Chang.

Jiang Ziya led Western Qi against Great Shang as Grand Tutor Wen rallied cultivators and the Ten Heavenly Lords deployed their deadly formations. After the Chan Sect broke most of the arrays, Zhao Gongming joined Wen Zhong and struck back, leaving True Man Huang Long captured.

• Jiang Ziya joined King Wu Ji Fa in Western Qi, received the Investiture of the Gods and the God-Beating Whip, and helped Chong Heihu capture Chong City for the rebellion.
• Grand Tutor Wen retook Chong City and drove Western Qi back, but Yuan Hong and the Six Monsters of Mount Mei later joined Jiang Ziya’s forces.
• Yang Jian defeated Yuan Hong, and Nezha killed him and the Six Monsters of Mount Mei, after which True Person Yu Ding secured permission to take Yuan Hong as his disciple.
• Grand Tutor Wen gathered the Four Saints of Nine Dragon Island and the Ten Heavenly Lords, but Chan Sect disciples killed the Four Saints and the Ten Heavenly Lords laid out their Ten Absolute Arrays.
• Heavenly Lord Yao’s Soul Falling Formation drew Jiang Ziya’s soul toward the Platform of Investiture, but Chi Jingzi used the Taiji Diagram to recover it.
• Daoist Ran Deng sent Chan Sect disciples against the Ten Absolute Arrays, and they broke six formations while several Heavenly Lords and Western Qi fighters died.
• Grand Tutor Wen sought Zhao Gongming’s help, and Zhao Gongming wounded the Chan Sect disciples with the Sky-Flipping Seal before striking Jiang Ziya and capturing True Man Huang Long.
