They didn't ask any questions, instead replying in unison:

"Many thanks to Saint Hongjun for expounding the Dao!"

Hongjun nodded.

He glanced at the seats at the very front, the corner of his mouth twitching almost imperceptibly.

He hesitated for a moment.

Only then did he continue:

"From now on, sit according to these seats when you listen to the Dao!"

Hearing this, Hong Yun let out a quiet sigh of relief.

"At last, I've taken the first step toward changing my fate!"

"But I wonder if things will return to their original course from here on..."

A moment later, Hong Yun hurriedly reined in his wandering thoughts.

Hongjun wasted no time and began expounding the Dao.

"The Dao that can be spoken is not the eternal Dao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name."

Hongjun's voice was unhurried.

His ethereal words nevertheless stirred the minds of everyone present!

These beings had emerged after the creation of the heavens and earth, as the world grew. They had been born with control over laws.

Though Hong Yun's soul had come from a later age, his control over the Power of Law came as naturally to him as breathing in his previous life.

It was instinctive!

Even though he could control laws, all Hong Yun knew of cultivation was comprehending laws and accumulating magical power.

He had focused solely on refining his laws!

As for the path ahead, he and Zhen Yuan Zi were as blind as mice trapped in a chimney.

Fortunately, before Hong Yun and Zhen Yuan Zi had taken physical form, the attraction of their Powers of Law had drawn them close to each other.

"But at this stage, they only know how to accumulate magical power. They know what happens, but not why, until they touch the Power of Law. This is the first stage."

At this point, Hongjun paused briefly.

He surveyed the three thousand Innate Deities in the Zixiao Palace.

These Innate Deities had all been born with control over the Power of Law.

There was little point in explaining how to cultivate through realms where they hadn't even touched the laws.
