• Shangguan Ye met Xiao Ning'er, healed her, and later broke her engagement to Shen Fei before proposing to her.
• Shangguan Ye joined Nie Li’s expedition to the Ancient Orchid Ruins, fought monsters, and helped recover treasures.
• Shangguan Ye revived Ye Yan, helped expose Shen Hong’s crimes, and killed Gui Sha and Dragon Sha as Glory City defeated the Dark Guild.

Shangguan Ye entered the Dragon Void Realm with Nie Li and rose to prominence through his strength, cultivation, and alliances. The arc left him leading the Demon Alliance’s efforts to claim Divine Pools while Gu Heng and Hua Ling’s forces were defeated.

• Shangguan Ye fused the Mountains and Rivers Painting with his Sea of Soul, erased the Witch Ghost Family’s camp, and passed the trials that led the group into the Black Flame Tower.
• Shangguan Ye subdued the Demon Lord’s challenge and helped the Nether Realm Controller drive Candle Dragon away before becoming the Controller’s disciple alongside Nie Li and Lu Piao.
• After returning briefly to Glory City, Shangguan Ye helped subdue Taotie and then departed for the Dragon Void Realm, where his golden Spiritual Root restored the realm’s Heavenly Dao and advanced his cultivation.
• Shangguan Ye cured Gu Lan, cultivated with Nie Li and Lu Piao, and claimed first place in the Sacred Spirit Immortal Realm’s rankings.
• Shangguan Ye defeated Venerable Chi Ling in a physical spar, brought Ying Ru Yue into the Mountain River Space, and met Feng Yu, the Vermilion Bird.
• Shangguan Ye reunited with Xiao Ning’er, crushed Murong Yu’s challenge, won Demon Soul Essence at auction, and wrote the character “heaven” during the Dao discussion.
• Shangguan Ye helped Gu Bei secure the first-ranked heir position and joined Nie Li’s group in defeating Hua Ling’s forces at the Lingyu Divine Pool.

Shangguan Ye built Dawn into a force capable of challenging the major sects while Nie Li gathered allies and pursued a way to defeat the Holy Emperor. The arc ended with Shangguan Ye destroying Glory City after learning that Ye Mo had killed his family and demanding answers from the imprisoned Ye Zong.

• Long Yuyin agreed to help Nie Li oppose the Holy Emperor, while Gu Heng attacked the Demon Alliance and Shangguan Ye helped its members escape.
• Nie Li and Shangguan Ye challenged Gu Heng’s power, explored the Phantom Palace, and learned more about the Holy Emperor and the reincarnated figures opposing him.
• Shangguan Ye advanced to the Martial Ancestor Realm, built Dawn, and helped Xiao Ning'er reunite with the Earthly Origin Divine Clan.
• Nie Li became acting sect master, while Shangguan Ye forced Ling Kong to submit and revealed his power at the Tianyin Divine Sect.
• Dawn intervened when the Demon God Sect attacked Tianyin, and Mo Xuan killed Yaolie before Dawn withdrew from the battle.
• Nie Li united the sect masters against the Holy Emperor and warned them that he intended to refine the Dragon Ruins Territory.

Shangguan Ye and Nie Li clashed with the Dawn Organization, infiltrated the Demon God Sect, and entered the Holy Demon Ancestral Land, where Shangguan Ye defeated the Ten Great Demon Gods. The arc ended with the Demon Lord taking over the Formless Divine Sect and Shangguan Ye proposing to seize control of the Demon God Sect as they prepared for the Holy Emperor.

• Feng Yu rescued Shangguan Ye from the white-haired old man, and Nie Li returned to the Nether Realm, where he killed Candle Dragon, Ye Han, and their allies.
• Shangguan Ye restored Shangguan Xun and the other Shangguan Family members, discovered Konoha Village in a hidden space, and mastered the Time Law.
• Nie Li led the sects against the Dawn Organization, but Shangguan Ye revealed that Long Ming and Long Xiang were his subordinates and ordered his forces to withdraw.
• Nie Li infiltrated the Demon God Sect, entered the Divine Flame Pool, and gained Death's Wing's inheritance before Shangguan Ye arrived and took the key to the Holy Demon Ancestral Land.
• Shangguan Ye fought the Demon Lord while Nie Li defeated Mu Yue, then the two used the key to enter the Holy Demon Ancestral Land and faced its powerful Monster Beasts.
• Shangguan Ye killed the Mystic Tortoise and defeated the Ten Great Demon Gods, then revived them with White Zetsu sacrifices and forced them to swear obedience.
• Feng Yu showed Ying Yueru visions of Her Highness's plan for Shangguan Ye, while Shangguan Ye later learned that the Demon Lord had taken over the Formless Divine Sect.
• Shangguan Ye recognized the demonic qi in the Formless Divine Sect and proposed taking command of the Demon God Sect, as Nie Li warned the other sects to stay vigilant.
