After leaving the room containing fusion materials for the Chimera Technique,
Minamoto Takuya also entered the cultivation room for the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path's arm. By now, that arm no longer resembled an arm. Its outline vaguely showed the shape of some kind of monster.
That was the meteorite's doing.
Without the meteorite, Minamoto Takuya would have needed to modify the arm himself at this stage.
Now that he had the meteorite, it had saved him a great deal of research and experimentation time.
Judging by the arm's current rate of transformation, it would probably take only a few years to fully assume a monstrous form—far earlier than he had expected.
By then, though, it would basically be impossible for him to have collected the chakra of all nine Tailed Beasts, so there was not much use in it developing that quickly anyway.
Minamoto Takuya shook his head. For now, this Demonic Statue of the Outer Path arm did not require his attention.
Finally, he entered the last room, where the test subjects were kept.
The room was filled with cultivation tanks. The newcomers inside were still struggling, but the older ones had already completely given up hope.
Minamoto Takuya looked over the test subjects. He could continue expanding this experiment base to accommodate more cultivation tanks.
But the problem was that those cultivation tanks all required resources. This barren land was safe, but correspondingly lacked resources. The supplies he could bring over at one time were not enough to support too many tanks.
So, the current scale could already be considered the limit.
However, as Minamoto Takuya considered his future plans, he might need to consume a vast number of test subjects. The test subjects at the experiment base alone would certainly not be enough.
Then, how
