The Blue Fireworks

The Demon Brothers, Meizu and Gozu, were nothing more than minor characters who barely appeared in the Naruto storyline. But that was only when compared to someone on Kakashi's level.

Today, if this had been any other ordinary team, then once their teacher was held up, three newly promoted Genin would have had absolutely no chance against a Mist Chunin who had been through who knew how many battles. It would have been a one-sided slaughter.

Yu felt no pressure at all as the ninja charged at him. The difference in strength was simply too great.

He even had time to glance back at Tazuna, who stood behind them.

"I expect a satisfactory explanation from you later."

Yu's voice drifted into Tazuna's ears, making the fear already written across his face even more pronounced.

But before Yu could make a move, Fujiwara Chima swung her weapon and charged at the Mist ninja Meizu. At such close range, her bow and arrows would be of little use, so she had to rely on a melee weapon.

Sai immediately drew his sword and joined Chima in facing Meizu's attack.

Although Sai held the title of Genin, his strength was at Chunin level. And having grown up under Root's training, he also had excellent combat instincts.

But Sai didn't dare fight at full strength, or he might expose his true identity.

Meizu didn't press his advantage. Their target was Tazuna, and once they killed him, they would withdraw. After all, besides Yu, they still had Yamashiro Aoba to contend with.

So after knocking down Chima and Sai, Meizu immediately shifted his attention to Yu.

Meizu stared, stunned.

In the next moment, Yu pulled hard on the chain. Meizu was sent flying straight toward him.

As Meizu flew toward him, Yu raised his other hand without changing expression and swung it with all his strength.

"Boom!"

The instant Yu's fist struck Meizu's body, a thunderous crash rang out.

A moment later, a blue firework bloomed in the sky, dazzling to behold.

Yu's punch had sent Meizu flying high into the air. But the tremendous Chakra and force overwhelmed Meizu's body, which burst apart in a violent explosion. In the end, Meizu became a blue firework.

Fujiwara Chima, Sai, and Tazuna stared at the sight, mouths agape, disbelief written all over their faces.

But Yu didn't stop. Since he'd already dealt with one of them, he might as well take care of the other too and save himself the trouble.

In the blink of an eye, Yu appeared between Yamashiro Aoba and Gozu. Both Aoba and Gozu, one of the Demon Brothers, were startled. They'd been so focused on their fight that they hadn't noticed the firework moments earlier.

This time, Yu didn't finish the fight with a punch. Instead, he held out his hand, and countless blue metal particles seeped from his body, then gathered together under the influence of Chakra.

A very thin, slender blade appeared in Yu's hand.

The instant the blade took shape, Yu swung it at Gozu, who immediately raised his guard.

The chains in Gozu's hands crossed and formed a shield, protecting his body.

But in the next instant, Yu's blade sliced through the chain shield as easily as a knife through tofu—and cut through Gozu behind it as well.

The whole process, from drawing the blade to sheathing it, took less than a second.

"This is my first real fight, Aoba-sensei."

Yu released the blue blade. The moment it left his hand, it turned back into metal particles and flowed into his body.

Yu paid no attention to Gozu beside him. He had complete confidence in his attack.

Besides, the chances of someone getting back up after being cut in half were close to zero. Anything could happen in the world of Naruto, but minor characters like the Demon Brothers definitely didn't have that kind of ability.
