Reborn into the Naruto world as a member of the Uchiha clan, Yu possessed meta-knowledge of the "Night of the Uchiha Clan Downfall." Despite his efforts to escape, he was fatally injured during the massacre 1. He survived by feigning death and was later taken in by the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi 3 4. After deciding to stay in Konoha to gain power, he formed a bond with Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki 7 12. He eventually ascended to the position of Fifth Hokage, working to restore the Uchiha clan's status and preparing the ninja world for the threat of the Otsutsuki Clan 104 141 247.
