The morning light of Theramore passes through the stained glass window, casting mottled light and shadow in the reception room of the City Hall.
"Mr. Blue Dragon, are you looking for me?" Jaina walked into the living room and saw Kalecgos standing by the window. His long blue hair had lost its previous luster, and his slender fingers were unconsciously rubbing the patterns on the window frame.
It's really strange that the Blue Dragon that surrounds her Sunwell every day actually comes to find her.
"Still thinking about Sunwell?" Jaina came over with two cups of tea and handed one to Blue Dragon.
Kalecgos took the tea cup, but did not drink it. "Reason tells me that I should answer the Nexus immediately," his voice was low, "But every time I close my eyes, I can feel her call."
Deren happened to hear this sentence when he walked in.
He found a seat and sat down while resisting the urge to roll his eyes. After being together for so long, he still couldn't get used to Kalecgos's habit of calling a well "her".
Jaina informed him that today Blue Dragon asked to see her. He also asked Deren to come and sit aside to make up his mind. It would be best if he could persuade Blue Dragon to go back.
"Considering the accident you... uh... encountered recently," Jaina thought about his words, "Maybe it's a good idea to leave Theramore temporarily."
Kalecgos turned around suddenly. "You want to drive me away too?"
"It's not a rush," Jaina sighed, "It's a temporary retreat. Dragonmaw Clan has already targeted you, who knows if Twilight's Hammer will come back? This city is no longer safe for you. You don't want to be kidnapped again!"
Blue Dragon's eyes dimmed. He looked down at his reflection in the tea cup. The once proud face was now filled with exhaustion and confusion.
"I know you're right," Kalecgos finally admitted, "But how could I just leave her like this?"
Deren's eyes lit up and he thought of a solution, "What if you could take away part of Sunwell's energy?"
Kalecgos raised his head suddenly. "What?"
"Don't you just want to stay with Sunwell's energy? You can take a can of well water with you and put it in your nest. You can stay with it every day." Deren suggested.
Waste Dragon thought for a long time and finally agreed.
Half an hour later, inside Mage Tower of Jaina, a special crystal jar was suspended above the energy node of Sunwell, and the golden magic power was introduced into the container together with the well water. Kalecgos stood aside, staring at the process without blinking, with an expression almost pious.
"There is a small Magic Array in the jar. The magic power can be maintained for a period of time to keep the well water alive." Jaina applied the final seal to the jar, "Although it is not as good as the real Sunwell, but"
"It's perfect!" Kalecgos excitedly took the crystal jar and held it carefully in his arms, as if it were the most precious treasure in the world, "This way I can feel her presence in the Nexus."
Deren and Jaina exchanged a look. Jaina's mouth twitched slightly, as if he was suppressing a smile.
"So, you agree to reply to the Nexus?" Deren confirmed.
Kalecgos nodded and finally showed his first smile in many days, "Yes, I want to go back the Nexus. The outside world is too dangerous!" He lowered his head and whispered to the crystal jar, "Let's go home together."
Deren secretly breathed a sigh of relief - a trouble was finally solved. If the Nexus was also kidnapped, it wouldn't be his turn to worry.
Then he found Chromie.
"You want me to escort him back?" Chromie's little face wrinkled, "I just came back from that nightmare cave!"
Deren squatted down and looked level with Bronze Dragon in the form of Gnome: "Just because you understand the situation, it is the most suitable. And" he lowered his voice, "Those three Red Dragon situations also require someone. Please ask Alexstrasza of Dragonblight Temple for instructions."
Chromie looked at the corner of the room. The three rescued Red Dragon transformed into the form of a human woman and sat there quietly. They were much more awake than when they were first rescued, but their eyes were still empty and they occasionally trembled unconsciously - the sequelae of Dragon Sickness Potion.
"They do need Alexstrasza's care," Chromie admitted, but then frowned, "But why don't you just take them back? Why do you need to ask for permission first?"
Deren pulled Chromie to a further corner. "Think about it, Chromie. What do these three Red Dragon represent?"
"It represents the atrocities committed by the Dragonmaw Clan!"
"Not only that," Deren shook his head, "They represent Alexstrasza's most unbearable memory - the history of being enslaved by orcs and being forced to lay eggs. Do you think Red Dragon Queen will be willing to openly admit this past? Let the three dragons representing his dark history walk around him. Let others discuss their origins?"
Chromie opened her mouth and closed it again. An expression of sudden realization flashed across her little face.
"So you want me to go first?" She made a gesture of asking for permission.
Deren nodded. "Give Queen a decent way to deal with it. It would be best if she is willing to accept them; if not." He glanced at the three Red Dragon, "We will find a way."
Chromie sighed, "Politics. I hate politics." But she nodded, "Okay, Kalecgos and I will leave tomorrow."
Deren patted her shoulder. "Be careful on the road. Just teleport this time. You should be familiar with the coordinates over there, so you won't be in danger." After saying that, he covered his mouth and thought of the flag in horror: After the war is over, he will go home and get married.
Bronze Dragon saw Deren's reaction and asked strangely, "What's wrong? Are you so scared?"
"It's okay, it's okay!" Deren certainly wouldn't tell her that he had set a certain flag, "Do you want me to send you off tomorrow?"
Unexpectedly, Chromie did not refute as usual. She just nodded silently and unconsciously touched her waist with her little hands - there were newly installed special positioning arrays on the left and right.
The next day, Mage Tower, Onyxia of Jaina and the female mage stood in the distance, watching Blue Dragon packing the crystal jar containing well water from a distance.
Chromie stood aside impatiently and urged, "Kael, can you hurry up? You have already said goodbye to Sunwell more than ten times."
"I'm about to say goodbye to my beloved, can't I say a few more words?" Blue Dragon said disapprovingly.
Deren quickly stepped forward to comfort Gnome who was about to go berserk, and said to Blue Dragon, "Mr. Kalecgos, Chromie still needs to do other things. If she can't wait and leave first, you can fly back to the Nexus yourself. Pay attention to safety on the road!"
After hearing this, Blue-haired Shuaibi immediately became excited, quickly put the well water jar into Space Bag, straightened his robe handsomely, and then said to Bronze Dragon with a smile on his face, "I'm ready, Chronormu. Let's go back to the dragon's nest right away."
Chromie gave Deren a thumbs up with his hand behind his back, and then disappeared into the ripples of time with Waste Dragon.
Seeing the troublemaker Blue Dragon disappear, Jaina patted his chest and let out a sigh of relief, "I'm finally gone. It made me nervous."
Black Dragon Princess also raised his forehead and smiled bitterly, "This is the most useless dragon I have ever seen. How could Blue Dragonflight be such a weirdo? Will Malygos beat him out of the sky when we go back?"
Deren walked up to them and said mysteriously, "No matter what he does, he is the first to cry. He will take over from Malygos."
Two women: What, it's him! I feel like Blue Dragonflight is going to be finished!
