Jaina·Menethil Princess's movements were so elegant that they were almost deliberate. She gently pushed the steaming tea cup in front of Onyxia. The porcelain touched the mahogany coffee table, making an almost inaudible sound.
"Try it, this is Rose Black Tea specially made for the Lordaeron palace." Jaina's voice was as soft as her pale golden hair, "Although the motherland has passed away, at least these traditions can still be preserved."
Onyxia--this Black Dragon Princess in human form--raised her eyebrows and held the handle of the tea cup with her slender fingers, but did not drink immediately. Her eyes glanced at Sanjo Red Dragon who was fidgeting in the corner of the living room, and the corner of her mouth raised a sarcastic arc.
"Can you three stop acting like hounds that have been forgotten by their masters?" Onyxia took a sip of tea, "Tsk, that's right! Thank you for your hard work, Miss Liya."
The oldest-looking Aella among the three Red Dragon coughed awkwardly. "Mistress, we are just thinking about how to prove our worth."
"Value?" Onyxia put down the teacup. The sound of the porcelain colliding with the table made Sanjo Red Dragon wince at the same time. "Your value is to not get into trouble, isn't it?"
Deren walked out of the study and happened to hear this conversation. He held a stack of ledgers in his arms, and Anveena followed him like a little tail, carefully holding a glass of milk in his hand.
"Aella are also very well-behaved." Deren put the account book on the coffee table and rubbed Anveena's hair. "Anna has also made great progress recently and can already recite short essays of several hundred words."
Anveena nodded proudly, the milk sloshed in her cup and almost spilled. Jaina quickly took the cup and wiped the milk stains on the corner of the girl's mouth with a handkerchief.
"What kind of progress is being able to memorize short essays?" Onyxia rolled his eyes and suddenly punched the coffee table, causing the teacup to jingle. "My father Deathwing is still sending those damn Twilight Cultists is here to harass us! Those lunatics have been hanging around Theramore from time to time lately. They have been talking nonsense about 'The End is Coming' all day long! I killed a few more rats that were running around outside the house."
Sanjo Red Dragon shrank back in unison, as if the name "Deathwing" itself had the power to burn them.
"Do you know the locations of their strongholds in various places?" Deren asked, narrowing his eyes slightly.
"If I had known, I would have burnt them to ashes!" Onyxia said through gritted teeth, black energy twining around her fingertips, "Those rats were hidden so well that every time they caught the minions, they didn't know the location of the core stronghold."
Deren rubbed his chin thoughtfully, and suddenly had an idea. "Maybe we can change our thinking. Let Ms. Jaina contact our goblin friend Prince Rivendare. Just tell him that I have a business to discuss with him."
Onyxia looked in disbelief. "Goblin? What use are you looking for those green-skinned dwarves? Their fighting power cannot even beat a Kobold!"
"That's right, that's right, the goblins' combat power is extremely weak." Chromie lay on Black Dragon's chest, naturally speaking for the host. Bronze Dragon was about to turn into a parasitic dragon.
"Looking at it from another angle, the goblins' combat power is off the charts." Deren turned around and showed a mysterious smile,
"Twilight's Hammer relies on spiritual corrosion, not the circulation of gold coins." Onyxia retorted, "What is the use of goblins?"
Deren chuckled, "Yes, because of mental corrosion, goblins are the most useful. It can be said that they are the most powerful existence among all the creatures in Azeroth!"
He paused for a moment to let the two female dragons hear his words clearly.
Chromie and Onyxia stared at Deren, as if they were saying: Are you awake? What are you talking about?
Deren raised the corner of his mouth slightly and tapped the table with his fingertips. "The problem is that goblins are a paradox. Goblins are the most fragile, but also the most bug-like existence."
Without explaining what "BUG" was, he continued, "In terms of physical strength, goblins can't even beat Kobold." Deren raised a finger, "In terms of mental resistance, they will even be knocked down by the hypnosis of priest Murloc."
Onyxia raised his eyebrows. "Then why do they live until now?"
"Because there are only two words engraved in their minds--"
Deren took out a gold coin from the money bag and flicked it into the air.
--Ding!
The gold coin spun and fell, and was caught by Chromie. She spread her palms, and the mark the Defias Brotherhood on the gold coin glowed golden in the firelight.
"Greed." Deren chuckled, "Pure, ultimate, incorruptible greed. The everlasting greed for gold coins!"
"You said, compared with Old God and goblins, who can corrupt whom?" Deren asked a strange question.
Chromie vaguely understood what Deren said, "Of course Old God corrupted the goblins. But..." she said a little uncertainly.
"Imagine--" Deren lowered his voice, "If a goblin was brainwashed by Old God's whispers and became a fanatical believer of N'Zoth..."
Onyxia narrowed his eyes. "Then?"
"Then he discovered that no one was auditing the Old God believer's donation box." Deren made a decisive move.
There was sudden silence in the house.
Chromie The gold coin in his hand fell to the ground with a clatter.
"... Huh?" Black Dragon Princess's brain was also shut down and he couldn't imagine this situation.
Deren's smile became increasingly dangerous, "Do you think a goblin who was brainwashed and corrupted by Old God would give up the opportunity to embezzle public funds from a cult?"
Chromie's mouth opened wide, as if she could swallow a dragon egg. She gasped desperately and calmly said after a long time, "Goblins are still goblins, and they will never let go of the opportunity to embezzle gold coins!"
Onyxia's dragon tail phantom swings excitedly behind him: "So your plan is--"
"I think there must be goblin believers in Twilight's Hammer, but the power is too weak, and they are definitely not high-ranking members." Deren explained, "So Twilight goblins have no chance to embezzle public funds."
"We take the initiative to present "a group of goblins to Old God, with a special purpose to believe in Evil God." Deren unfolds the last part of the plan, "and then unites the original Twilight goblins and asks them to "devoutly" help Twilight's Hammer manage the property, and then..."
He made a gesture of emptying his pockets.
Black Dragon and Bronze Dragon laughed so much that they hugged each other and almost shed tears.
Onyxia held his stomach desperately to hold back his convulsive laughter, panting and said to Deren, "I will definitely support you in this crazy plan of yours. Let me study you carefully tonight to see how I can discover this great idea." As he said this, he gave Deren a "you know" look!
And Bronze Dragon started to cast the spell and observed Timeline who turned into a twist. "Oh, my God, this is so exciting! The effect is surprisingly good." After a moment of gibberish groaning, Chromie announced, "Goblin Operation, no problem! This is the funniest evil-killing action in the history of Azeroth."
Black Dragon also took out Communication Crystal and started to contact Jaina. The goblins have since embarked on the road of Azeroth's strongest race!
