In a luxurious room somewhere in Ratchet, a group of Goblins was celebrating.
"Wahaha! Theramore's grain prices have more than doubled in half a month. A casual move from us stirred up such a storm, yet Theramore hasn't reacted at all. They still don't understand what happened."
A Goblin with a cigar clenched between his teeth boasted wildly, spraying spittle everywhere.
"I have to say, Venture Company really knows how to get things done. We Rustwater Goblins can't pull that off." Another Goblin flattered him.
"Haha, progress means nothing. Profit is everything. Who would've thought Theramore was such a fat prize? We used to think mining and logging in the wilderness earned us decent money, but it doesn't come close to the money Theramore makes just sitting there collecting taxes." The cigar-smoking Goblin roared with laughter.
"We really have to thank the Great Chieftain for pointing us down this path!" Another Dark Iron Dwarf said with a laugh after taking a huge gulp of wine.
"Don't celebrate too soon. Jaina isn't an ordinary woman. She built Theramore with her own hands, so she definitely has methods." Gazlowe, Prince of the Rustwater Goblins, advised them. "Don't make her furious. Watch out for her counterattack."
All the Goblins and Dwarves silently put away their cheerful expressions.
"It's fine. We didn't use fraud or coercion. Everything was legal trade, willing buyers and willing sellers. What are we afraid of? Is Theramore going to ban trade now?" the cigar-smoking Venture Company Goblin reassured them.
"Legal? Don't tell me those grain stocks used as collateral for bank loans were really that clean. Jaina won't overlook any loophole when she strikes back." Gazlowe said disdainfully.
"Whose side are you on? Why are you speaking up for Theramore?" the cigar Goblin
