Ve'nari kept her word. She raised a hand and cast a spell, summoning a Portal in one corner of the camp, then led Uther through it to a desolate land of ruins.

"This is the underground prison, the Sanguine Depths. The person we're looking for is below," Ve'nari explained patiently. "There used to be many guards down there, but because of the demon invasion, Arch-deacon Denathrius transferred many Venthyr to the front lines. Only some researchers remain. I think you should be able to handle them."

This was Uther's first time here. When he saw the scene before him and heard the name "Arch-deacon Denathrius," he remembered what this place was and asked, "Is this Revendreth?"

"Yes!" Ve'nari stepped into the passage first.

"The prisoners Denathrius hates are locked up below. There aren't many guards left now," she said as they walked, introducing the situation. "Because the oath of us Ethereals is real and must be obeyed, I can only remain neutral in the Shadowlands. You'll have to defeat the enemies below."

"No problem. For my comrades of the Holy Light!" Uther was not worried that he could not win, because he hoped his status as the "chosen one" was real.

The environment inside was as dim as ever. Blood-red candles burned along the way, gloomy and eerie.

They did not encounter a single shadow along the way. Ve'nari seemed to have long since figured this place out, leading the way without the slightest pause.

"You know this place well?" Uther thought, and immediately asked it aloud.

"I have spent long ages in the Shadowlands, so of course I've been here before," Ve'nari explained naturally. The flames above her head swayed slowly.

"Do you Ethereals have some kind of connection with one another?" Uther asked.

Ve'nari hesitated for a moment
