The Skeletons in the Secret Room

Although Arthas was no longer human, he possessed a keen sense of perception he had never had when he was alive. So the moment he stepped into the study, he heard a faint breeze. It wasn't coming from outside the window, but from somewhere inside the room.

Arthas walked straight behind his father's chair. A large painting hung behind Terenas II's seat, depicting the Menethil family. Terenas II wore no expression, while Arthas's mother gazed into the distance with a kind smile. Standing behind them were Arthas and his sister. Their smiles were so sweet they could make anyone's heart melt. But Arthas, now a Death Knight, didn't hesitate to tear down the picture of this happy family. The faint breeze he'd sensed was coming from behind it.

Arthas drew Frostmourne and struck the wall with all his might, but he couldn't break through. Surprised, he tightened his grip on the sword and swung again. The wall remained untouched.

Arthas lowered Frostmourne. He knew brute force wouldn't break through the wall, so he turned and scanned the study, searching for a mechanism that might open it.

The study was spacious but simply furnished. Apart from the desk and chairs, the entire room was lined with bookshelves, packed with books.

Looking at the familiar surroundings, Arthas felt an unfamiliar emotion rise within him. He frowned and placed his hand on Frostmourne. The chill radiating from the sword suppressed the feelings in his heart.

At last, after scanning the entire room, Arthas spotted something that might open the secret chamber: a book of the Menethil family genealogy on one of the shelves.
