But on the way back to Stormwind City, another complication arose. It had to do with the very reason they had gone to Blackrock Tower: Varian's son, the Prince of the Kingdom of Stormwind, Anduin Wrynn.
For some unknown reason, after leaving Blackrock Tower, Anduin's fever wouldn't break. Varian was deeply worried, but Brol the Druid, the most knowledgeable about medicine among the five of them, examined Anduin and concluded that all his vital signs were normal. In fact, compared to an ordinary infant, Anduin was even stronger.
By the time Leiluo and the others reached the outskirts of Goldshire, a thin layer of dragon scales had appeared on Anduin's skin.
"Anduin may have turned out this way because of what Onyxia did before she died. Since the Holy Light hasn't reacted to this power, it shouldn't harm him."
Though Leiluo was talking about Anduin's condition, his eyes never left Varian.
