"Tirion Fordring? Why would he suddenly come to Northrend?"
Although Leiluo was puzzled by Fordring's sudden appearance in Northrend, he still went to meet him. Compared to their last meeting, Fordring looked much older. Deep lines creased his face, and his hair and beard had turned completely white. Anyone who didn't know him might have taken him for an old man in his eighties or nineties.
Though Fordring's face had grown more weathered, his eyes still shone brightly, as if there were flames burning in them. The young man standing beside him seemed much less remarkable by comparison, but Leiluo's eyes remained fixed on him—or, more accurately, on his back. The young man carried something Leiluo had once desperately wanted but never obtained: the Ashbringer.
"Fordring, what brings you here so suddenly this time? We're on the same side as the Alliance now."
Leiluo's words were full of resentment over Fordring's interference in the Scarlet Crusade's battle last time. Fordring didn't mind in the slightest, though. His conscience was clear. He had stood up for the Scarlet Crusade for the sake of peace in Azeroth, and he knew that, despite Leiluo's teasing, Leiluo didn't actually blame him for what had happened.
"I admit I handled things poorly last time. I should have chosen a more reasonable way to resolve the matter. If I offended you, Great Chieftain, I hope you'll forgive me."
Fordring was far more at peace with himself now. Unlike before, he no longer felt the need to argue over every right and wrong, or fight over every matter. Though he knew Leiluo didn't truly mind what had happened last time, Fordring still humbled himself and made a concession, giving Leiluo the courtesy he was due.
