He asked, "Could it be that, ever since you emerged into the world, Fellow Daoist, you have been cultivating bitterly within this cave dwelling? When I came here ten thousand years ago, I did not sense your aura either."

Randeng smiled and shook his head.

"This poor Daoist had been cultivating in the west before, which was why I did not encounter Fellow Daoist."

"The west? Wasn't the west blasted into ruins by the Devil Ancestor Luohu?"

The Devil Ancestor's detonation of the western ley lines had left the west's spiritual energy sparse and violent; this was common knowledge among the Innate Divine Saints.
