Colliver had been to so many places and lived through so many incredible adventures, yet in the end he had returned to his hometown and become an obscure adventurer.

Why had I crossed over here with a system? Was I Scum Renard or a shut-in Renard?
After a long while, the story came to an end.
Colliver sighed, his heart heavy with disappointment. His voice was tinged with deep frustration. "I've never been to another country or another continent. I've never seen all kinds of strange races. I've never seen the legendary elves, beastfolk, or merfolk."
Renard was pulled back to reality. "What a world to dream about."
"Yeah!" Colliver clenched his fist and said, "If I could become a Battle Qi Warrior, I wouldn't have to be stuck in this godforsaken little place."
Renard's mouth twitched. Just a moment ago, Colliver had been praising the City of Abundance, and now he was calling it a godforsaken place.
