"Nice work, Murasaki!" Ken Kaneki encouraged him, pointing toward Teppei Kiyoshi in the stands. "Keep it up! Let's use Hakusui Hall today to throw down a challenge to the former First Center!"
"Yossha!" Atsushi Murasakibara glared in the direction Ken pointed and roared, like a young tiger announcing itself to the forest.
"Hello, viewers! Welcome to TV Tokyo's broadcast of the second game in the third round of the Prefectural Tournament. I'm your old friend, Heihachi Tashiro." Starting with the third round, the Prefectural Tournament games were being broadcast, and commentators had appeared in the booth.
"We just saw Ken Kaneki and Atsushi Murasakibara of Teiko Junior High School pull off a beautiful play. The two of them look very excited," Heihachi Tashiro said with a cheerful laugh. "They've already scored two beautiful baskets in a row at the start of the game. As expected of Teiko Junior High School."
"Ken-chan, what's that bespectacled guy on the sidelines babbling about?" Atsushi Murasakibara asked curiously, looking toward the edge of the court.
"Who cares? He's probably just talking about how great we're playing. Don't worry about it." Ken Kaneki smiled and patted Atsushi Murasakibara on the arm. "Just focus on playing. This kind of thing will be part of our everyday lives in the future."
"Oh, okay." Atsushi Murasakibara nodded slightly.
"Those two guys keep looking over here, Kiyoshi," Kazunari Takao said, watching Teppei Kiyoshi with an amused expression. "Looks like they've got their eyes on your title of National First Center."
"Ha ha, they've got plenty of fire in them." Teppei Kiyoshi smiled warmly. "It's only natural for newcomers to be ambitious. But I won't give up easily, either."
"Are these guys really first-years, just like me?" Kazunari Takao said with a wry smile, looking at Teiko Junior High School
