Background
Ken was a Chinese college student before transmigrating into the body of a Japanese junior-high student. He awakens in a hospital after a bicycle incident involving Daiki Aomine, recognizes Satsuki Momoi, Aomine, and Teiko Junior High as elements of Kuroko’s Basketball, and discovers that he can speak Japanese. 1
Initially, Ken intends to avoid basketball because he believes his body is too frail to compete with the sport’s prodigies. After demanding a “cheat,” he receives a System that awards attribute points for missions and lottery draws for affecting major characters or changing the storyline. 1 2
His current-life parents are deceased, leaving him a building and savings. Their absence makes the friendship offered by Momoi and Aomine especially meaningful to him. 3
Appearance
Ken is first recorded at 180 cm tall with golden hair, golden irises, and an unusually developed physique for a thirteen-year-old. By age sixteen, his evolved body is recorded at 205 cm and 102 kg. 2 11 296
| Record | Height | Weight | Wingspan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Initial First Man data, age 13 | 180 cm | 85 kg | 200 cm 2 |
| Updated U15 data, age 13 | 186 cm | 88 kg | 206 cm 98 |
| God King’s Body data, age 16 | 205 cm | 102 kg | 225 cm 296 |
- His golden hair is repeatedly conspicuous under court lighting. 11
- Opponents regularly compare his physical presence to a beast, dragon, or mountain. 45 184 250
- His Wildness manifests as a masked, kagune-tailed phantom with a black-and-red eye. 166
Personality
Ken is notably mature, goal-oriented, and difficult to coach conventionally. Kōzō Shirogane identifies his clear ambitions and emotional detachment as both the source of his potential and a possible danger to him. 21
Away from competition, he is gentle with friends, accepts responsibility for mistakes, and protects people being threatened or bullied. He befriends Atsushi Murasakibara through snacks and manga, defends Sakuragi Hanamichi from thugs, and intervenes when Ryō Miyagi is targeted by delinquents. 8 113 118
On court, Ken is intensely competitive, provocative, and often arrogant. His confidence comes from treating every opponent as a problem to be solved, but he rejects humiliation for its own sake and repeatedly criticizes Shogo Haizaki’s poor sportsmanship. 22 32 145
