"Let me start from the beginning."
"My parents died in a car crash."
"Someone ran dangerous experiments on me."
"I was kidnapped."
"Raped."
"Controlled into killing people."
"And now all I can do is throw this damn ball here!!!"
Bang!
The rubber ball in her hand slammed viciously into the wall. As it exploded with a roar, cracks spiderwebbed across the plaster.
The one who'd just roared turned and slipped away.
The streets were crowded with people, but they brought her not even a shred of optimism.
Or rather, optimism had long since vanished from her life.
She was Jessica Jones, Hell's Kitchen's former superhero "Jewel," and now a private detective as worthless as dog shit, a drunk, and a slut!
Head down, hands shoved in her pockets, she walked like a thief.
But inside, she was thinking.
Only booze and oblivion could give her brief numbness and hope.
Maybe also fire-like, not-ordinary sex?
So where could she find what she needed...
She looked around blankly.
Then thought of her detective agency. At least yesterday she'd scraped together some cash by snapping photos of an old man cheating on his wife.
"Let's blow it all at a nice place. Like that top-notch Basha!"
So she followed her memory to the Golden Mansion.
But she felt like she was lost.
Drinking seemed to have become instinct. She figured she was already drunk without even having a drink—could she not even recognize the streets anymore?
Why had the Golden Mansion turned into the fucking Heisenberg Mansion!
You, Heisenberg, who put your name on this building, you'd better pray the Nightclub hasn't changed, and pray I can still have a good time!
Or I'll beat you to death...
"Ahhh fuck, fuck fuck fuck!!!"
"Come on, you gutless bastard, fight me! Let's see how much you can drink!"
Gulp gulp gulp gulp gulp!
"Did your fat belly get knocked up with your own spawn?"
"Throw a punch, haha, can't wait!"
Boom!!!
Crash clatter bang!
Thud!
Bang!
At nearly eleven-twenty at night, Heisenberg, sitting in a booth chatting with Coulson, had to accept the fact that someone was causing trouble in his Nightclub.
Seeing Heisenberg rise with irritation, Coulson reached out with a hint of sympathy.
"Heisenberg!"
He called out.
"I... want to speak up for those drunks. They're just wasted, but they don't deserve to die, right?"
"Hmph!"
Heisenberg grunted, then turned and walked away, leaving Coulson alone in the booth, torn with uncertainty.
After all, he couldn't tell if Heisenberg's response meant he'd accepted the plea or not.
As for Heisenberg—
Slap... slap... slap!
He clapped his hands hard.
A visible shockwave burst from his palms, staggering every customer within a dozen meters.
And the sound? Even louder.
Heisenberg had hoped the noise would make the drunkards stop—after all, his nightclub had been open for over a week, and the guys messing around here knew his temper.
But today was clearly different.
As Heisenberg's clap rang out, one side of the brawling parties had already stopped in unison.
But one girl—a woman who looked somewhat slender but was clearly extremely strong—kept fighting on.
She even hoisted a burly man weighing at least a hundred and eighty pounds high with one hand, then used the other to pound his stomach!
Seeing this, Heisenberg broke into a brilliant smile.
"Whoa~!"
He let out an impressed exclamation, then glanced around with a grin before continuing to the customers watching the scene.
"Now that's one spicy rose, isn't it?"
"Hell yeah, Boss, get in there!"
"Boss, this chick's yours, go for it!"
"Look how much punch her fists have—just like the Boss!"
"This girl belongs in Heisenberg's bed, no doubt about it!"
The customers around him predictably started spouting trash talk, but those words clearly pissed off the furious woman even more!
She didn't yet feel like turning around and beating up everyone in the whole nightclub.
So she decided to take all her anger out on the fat guy in front of her.
Thud!
A vicious punch slammed into the fat man's diaphragm, and he immediately spat out a mouthful of foamy blood.
"You just wanted to sleep with me, get me drunk, see what's under this outfit, right?"
Thud!
Another brutal punch.
The fat man coughed up bits of organ debris.
"Couldn't outdrink me, so you drugged my glass—do you have to be that fucking despicable?"
Bang!
Another punch, but the woman throwing it froze.
Her fist had been gently caught by someone!
That's right, when she looked at the man in front of her, she felt like the arm holding hers wasn't using any force at all.
That surprised her.
Then Heisenberg spoke.
"One more punch like that, and he's really dead. Are you sure you're ready for that?"
The moment he finished, the woman seemed to suddenly remember something.
She jerked back and crouched on the ground, looking utterly helpless.
Her expression was twisted and fractured, as if she'd thought of something terrifying.
But her loss of control lasted only a moment.
The next second, she stood back up and snarled fiercely at Heisenberg.
"Who the fuck are you, daring to stick your nose in my business..."
"Me?" Heisenberg smiled. "The boss here."
"So it's you!"
The woman didn't give a damn about Heisenberg being the boss—she slammed a vicious punch straight at his chest.
Heisenberg naturally didn't dodge her fist.
Clang!!!
No one could have expected that the moment her fist hit Heisenberg's chest, it would produce a sound like metal striking metal.
And the woman herself was knocked back three steps.
"Holy shit!!!"
The woman was stunned. She shook her hand in pain while staring wide-eyed at Heisenberg.
"You're fucking strong. Come on, fight me—win, and you can have your way with me. How about it?"
"Haha, sure. Though you've cursed more than I've heard in my whole life, I'd rather that mouth of yours be filled with something extra—something belonging to me."
Heisenberg's mood kept improving. Once he sensed the woman's inhumanly terrifying strength and the gloomy, tragic aura clinging to her, he had a pretty good idea who this poor woman really was.
The woman didn't give Heisenberg time to keep thinking. She stomped her right foot hard against the ground and charged at him with all her might.
The nightclub floor shattered in more than three places at once.
But this poor woman.
So what if she could crack the floor? Heisenberg had her pinned in his arms with one hand.
"You all heard it—I win, I get to play with her, so we're leaving.
Someone take the injured idiot to the hospital, and everyone else keep partying. Tonight's all on me!"
Even as the woman in his arms kept struggling, Heisenberg ignored her. Amid the roaring cheers of the crowd, he returned with her to his penthouse villa.
That night was exceptionally wild. The woman's body was far stronger than an ordinary person's, and her craving for this kind of thing was heavier than anyone else's.
She even longed to be hurt in the process!
And Heisenberg.
He let loose a little more than usual for once.
The people he usually fought were all normal folks, so he always had to hold back. Only with a special case like this woman could he relax.
Whether the woman was satisfied or not was unknown, but Heisenberg's bed was definitely wrecked.
The next morning, Heisenberg woke up on the floor.
He checked the time—barely past six.
So he smacked the woman's ass in annoyance.
If she hadn't tried to sneak off so early, he wouldn't have had to suffer this early rising.
At Heisenberg's slap, the woman, who was quietly getting dressed, froze.
Then she spun around quickly, smiled, and kissed Heisenberg on the cheek before saying.
"You did great last night, I'm impressed. But I'm broke, so no tip for you, OK?"
"Damn it!"
Heisenberg scowled and pulled her back into his arms.
"Don't think you're getting off that easy. Morning workout!"
"Hmph, think I'm scared of you?"
As they kept going, the now-awake woman seemed to remember something. She twisted her head back and shouted at Heisenberg, who was equally busy.
"I'm Jessica Jones. Damn it, it's awkward, but I want you to know my name!"
"And then? Want me to shout that name when you come?"
Heisenberg bit Jessica's ear as he said it.
By the time they finished messing around, it was 7:20.
Even as strong as she was, the woman had little energy left.
Heisenberg carried her into the shower, then dragged her over to a lounge chair.
He had a servant bring breakfast, and they lay there eating without any pretense.
Mid-meal, Jessica suddenly lifted her head.
But when Heisenberg looked at her, she dropped it again.
This happened a few times before Heisenberg finally asked.
"Curious, because now that you're sober, you've finally remembered who I am?"
"Exactly."
Jessica nodded and explained.
"The famous Heisenberg of late, right?
Kingpin killer, the new king of New York's dark empire, the Injustice Superman according to rumors, and the barbarian with impressive bed skills!
Which title do you like best?"
With that, she stretched out her startlingly pale foot and rubbed his chest with her toes.
Heisenberg caught her foot, pulling it toward him as he replied.
"The one where you praised me."
"Tch!"
Jessica pulled her foot back into her nightgown and went back to eating.
After the meal, Jessica didn't bother with makeup. She simply tied her hair back and got ready to leave.
Heisenberg didn't stop her right away, even though he really liked this woman—once known as Jewel, now scarred all over by the Purple Man.
But precisely because he liked her, so.
Around eleven, Heisenberg put on the suit Barbara had picked for him and donned sunglasses like the Terminator's.
Getting into the Bentley that Kingpin once rode, holding the address Billy had provided for him—the address of Jessica Jones Detective Agency.
Heisenberg set off.
Jessica, dressed in clothes so simple they bordered on shabby, walked out of her office with a thoroughly bored expression.
Before she'd taken two steps, she spotted an old friend of hers.
"Hey, Jessica, you're looking really good today. That anger management club I recommended yesterday worked pretty well, huh?"
"Heh, I'm even angrier now!"
Jessica pursed her lips and shot back.
Hearing that, her friend gave Jessica a once-over.
"Tsk tsk tsk, you don't look angrier—you look satisfied!
What kind of guy did you meet last night? Was he good?"
"Ha, if you're asking about that, he was incredible. So incredible my waist almost broke. Long-lasting, strong, whew~~~!!!"
The moment the topic came up, Jessica's face lit up with rare enthusiasm, and she even whistled at the end of her sentence.
Her friend immediately broke into a knowing grin alongside her.
When women get together, what else is there to talk about, right?
They stood around catching up for a while, then went their separate ways. Jessica walked out of the building where her agency was, planning to grab a bite at the nearest fast food joint.
But the moment she stepped out of the building...
"Aaaaaahhh!!!"
She let out a string of screams!
And by the time those screams ended, she was floating outside the atmosphere!
Staring at the satellites right next to her, then looking down at the blue Earth beneath her feet.
Jessica blinked a couple of times and glared hard at Heisenberg, who was holding her.
"Are you really Superman?"
Jessica asked.
Heisenberg thought for a moment, then nodded and shook his head.
"Jessica, I looked into your situation and found a bastard who disgusts me, and the things he did that made me absolutely furious.
So I figured you needed a miracle, and I'm giving you one."
With that, Heisenberg pressed his cheek against Jessica's startlingly pale face.
"You asked if I'm Superman. I'm not.
I do have power like his, but I'll personally kill the one who hurt you.
I'll squeeze him into meat paste with my bare hands and toss him into the sun!
Superman isn't that cruel, right?"
"So Superman was never my hero."
Jessica said this as she started to cry.
