Background
Heisenberg was originally an ordinary man from Origin Earth who ran a mahjong parlor in Phoenix City. Before his transmigration, he had worked in small loans, construction, sand delivery, beer distribution, and other businesses before becoming a small-town boss. He died after suffering a myocardial infarction following a major card-game loss. 1 10 36
His soul was bound by a multiversal System to the body of a DC Universe Kryptonian Elder, also named Heisenberg. The body’s original owner had been the last hawkish Elder of Krypton, exiled and imprisoned for 18,000 years. 1
After awakening on Earth-19999, Heisenberg initially intended to enjoy the freedom and security that his Kryptonian body afforded him. He later identifies himself to Nick Fury as Krypton’s 64th Chief Elder, while claiming that he wants to live an ordinary life. 3
His early exhilaration fades into homesickness and uncertainty. After revisiting Origin Earth and witnessing his parents’ worry over his disappearance, he concludes that he can no longer return to an ordinary life. He instead creates a past version of himself to remain with his parents and accepts his role as an Order Keeper. 14 36
As an Order Keeper, Heisenberg’s purpose is not to preserve fixed order, but to rebalance worlds: introducing evil into excessively righteous worlds, restoring justice to excessively evil ones, reigniting stagnant worlds, and calming war-torn ones. 36
Appearance
Heisenberg possesses a Kryptonian physique repeatedly described as sculpted, proportioned like a Greek statue, and bearing an aura that makes onlookers associate him with a godfather or deity. 114 159 379
- His body is exceptionally dense; S.H.I.E.L.D. scanners cannot penetrate his skin, while scalpels and laser tools cannot damage even his hair, eyes, or internal tissues. 3
- He is frequently seen in tailored suits, long coats, armor, or minimal clothing, depending on the setting. 51 159 379
- In his Anti-Life Equation encounter, a black sun disc manifests in his chest amid cracked skin, lava-like fissures, red eyes, and the smell of sulfur. 206
- After his power rises further, six rotating divine flames orbit him: Yellow Sun Fire, Omega Fire, Phoenix flame, and other divine flames. 426
- He uses the Abyss Armor in unfamiliar or dangerous worlds; it can disappear at his command. 379
Personality
Heisenberg is candid about his limitations. He considers himself an ordinary person at heart: worldly, greedy, impulsive, and ill-suited to managing complicated schemes or organizations alone. His answer is to recruit capable people and use overwhelming strength to keep them loyal. 10
He values freedom, comfort, pleasure, and personal safety, and he reacts harshly to perceived disrespect. His philosophy of reciprocity is simple: those who attack him should expect equal or greater retaliation. He often uses fear as a deliberate means of securing obedience. 5 6
Despite his ruthlessness, Heisenberg is not uniformly cruel. He can be attentive to vulnerable people, protect those who serve him well, help strangers in danger, and show concern for the worlds and lives under his protection. His growth as a god gradually gives him a more balanced respect for life, death, good, and evil. 23 25 206 213 441
He dislikes being treated as a weapon, a specimen, or a tool of another organization. He insists on being recognized as an autonomous individual—and increasingly, as a god and ruler in his own right. 3 470

- Survived 322 bullets without meaningful harm. 6
- Can fly freely at extreme speed and move quickly enough to evade spatial attacks. 4 84
- Does not require sleep for physical recovery; only mental fatigue affects him. 39

Phoenix, Omega, and Flame Powers
Heisenberg acquires and refines several high-level flame-based powers.
- Uses Hera’s cloak, woven from her hair and infused with Prometheus’s human fire, Helios’s solar fire, and Hestia’s hearth fire. 422
- Develops the three flames into a Phoenix-shaped manifestation. 423
- Possesses a portion of the Phoenix’s power, allowing him to catch Fate-empowered Gungnir. 430
- Wields a collection of six divine flames, including Yellow Sun Fire, Omega Fire, and Phoenix flame. 426
Origin Matter and the System
The System enables Heisenberg to travel between worlds, manipulate fate, and purchase extraordinary effects using Origin Matter.
- Gains Origin Matter by altering the fates of sentient beings. 9
- Uses Origin Matter to access memories, change his appearance, erase evidence, and return to Origin Earth. 36 51
- Can use the System as an escape route from temporal, spatial, and dimensional traps. 72
- Uses it to investigate, analyze, and integrate new powers, including the three Greek divine flames. 423

Story Role / Major Arcs
Arrival on Earth-19999
Heisenberg awakens near the Manhattan Stock Exchange, where S.H.I.E.L.D. mistakes him for an unknown threat. As Earth’s yellow sun empowers him, he breaks free from containment, confronts Nick Fury, and establishes that conventional weapons and institutions cannot control him. 3 7
Building the Nuke Gang
After killing Kingpin and accepting Bullseye’s loyalty, Heisenberg begins assembling an organization to manage intelligence, public image, criminal operations, and daily problems that he does not want to handle personally. He claims the Second Basha nightclub, renames it the Academy of Sciences, and establishes its rules. 9 12
Order Keeper and New York Ruler
Heisenberg returns to Origin Earth, learns the purpose of an Order Keeper, and accepts that he is meant to alter worlds rather than live quietly within them. Back in New York, he forms the Justice League, imposes his own laws, and seeks to enforce justice through fear, discipline, and control. 36 47
Asgardian and Divine Expansion
Heisenberg fights Loki, rejects the Scepter of Mind’s control, defeats Odin, and begins acquiring divine authority. His growing fear of not being truly invincible motivates him to seek further power and a deeper understanding of himself. 56 107 142
Return to the DC Universe
Heisenberg reclaims a Kryptonian spaceship in Metropolis, restores it as the Fortress of Solitude, and publicly reveals himself through a display that turns night into day. Awakened and Hellfire Club Era
In a mutant-dominated universe, Heisenberg is classified as a mutant, humiliates military forces, manipulates governments, and establishes himself as the White King. Pursuit of Omnipotence
After witnessing worlds repeatedly created, destroyed, and rewritten by Almighty beings, Heisenberg recognizes the limits of his current essence.
