The night was ink-black, the moonlight like water as it softly fell over Zhang Niu and Zhang Ma, outlining their slightly weary yet excited figures.
The two walked home together. Everything around them was quiet, save for the chirping insects in the roadside grass, one after another, adding a touch of lively vitality to the peaceful night.
"Second Brother, did you see the Blue Silver Grass in Liu Family Village?" Zhang Niu broke the silence first, unable to hide the amazement in his voice. His eyes gleamed under the moonlight.
"That Blue Silver Grass Network was simply incredible! Liu Feng is so young, yet he already has such ability. He's truly remarkable!"
Zhang Ma nodded heavily and could not help sighing. "Yeah. I've lived most of my life and traveled far and wide, but I've never seen anything like this."
"For Liu Feng to think of linking the Blue Silver Grass together and using it to promote plant growth is truly impressive."
"Though he's still young, neither his ideas nor his ability to act are lacking in the slightest."
Zhang Niu suddenly stopped, a look of determination flashing through his eyes. He said firmly, "I've decided. I'm moving to Liu Family Village!"
"What?" Zhang Ma came to an abrupt halt, his eyes widening in shock as he stared at Zhang Niu as though he were looking at a madman.
"Have you lost your mind? This isn't some trivial matter. You can't just move because you feel like it! Do you know how many things this involves, and how much effort it'll take?"
Zhang Niu looked utterly serious. He stepped forward, patted Zhang Ma on the shoulder, and said earnestly, "Second Brother, think carefully. Liu Feng is obviously a little genius. If we follow him, this might really work out."
"An opportunity this rare will never come again once we miss it. We need to learn to place our bets early and seize this chance to change our fate."
"There aren't many opportunities like this in a person's life. When it's time to act, we have to act."
Zhang Ma furrowed his brow and fell into thought, his face filled with conflict and hesitation. "That may be true, but I still need to discuss this properly with my family."
"After all, this isn't just about me. It affects the lives of the whole family. I have to consider everything for them."
Zhang Niu grew somewhat anxious. His brow tightened as he quickened his pace of speech. "You really need to stop hesitating!"
"Opportunities like this don't come every day. By the time you finish slowly discussing it, someone else may have already gotten ahead of us."
"Opportunities are always fleeting. We have to act decisively."
Zhang Ma smiled helplessly, a bitter smile appearing on his face. "Eldest Brother, don't rush. I know you mean well and want to improve our strength."
"But with such a major decision, I have to give my family a reasonable explanation and let them willingly make this choice with me."
The two continued onward. The moonlight stretched their shadows long, sometimes overlapping and sometimes separating, as though revealing the different thoughts and choices in their hearts.
On the other side, Liu Feng and his father, Liu Qing, were sitting in their courtyard. Moonlight spilled into the yard, draping the whole place in a thin silvery veil.
"Dad, do you think Uncle Niu and Uncle Ma will agree to analyze Soul Skills with us?" Liu Feng looked deeply worried, his brows tightly drawn into a deep furrow.
"They seemed a little hesitant. If they refuse, our plan will be difficult to carry out."
Liu Qing set down the teacup in his hand and gently patted Liu Feng's shoulder. "Son, we do what we can and leave the rest to Heaven's Mandate. This really is a major decision for them."
"It concerns their future and the development of their families. They need time to weigh the pros and cons and think it through carefully."
"As for us, we only need to do what we should, show them our sincerity and our plan, and let nature take its course from there."
Liu Feng sighed and nodded, a trace of confusion in his eyes. "I hope they agree. I really want to explore Soul Skills with them."
"I believe that if we work together, we'll definitely make some breakthroughs in Soul Skill Analysis."
Worried, Liu Feng tossed and turned for a long time before gradually falling asleep. Moonlight filtered through the window onto his face, reflecting his faintly furrowed brows.
Second Day Early Morning, golden sunlight scattered over Liu Family Village like fine grains of gold, draping the entire village in a dazzling golden coat.
As usual, Liu Feng returned home after training at the Waterfall. Sweat had soaked through his clothes, which clung to his steadily strengthening body.
From afar, he saw a large crowd gathered outside his home. The people were bustling about, and noisy voices carried over from the distance.
Puzzled, Liu Feng quickened his pace and headed toward home.
"Dad, what's going on?" Liu Feng asked Liu Qing in confusion as he entered the crowd. Beads of sweat still hung from his forehead, and his eyes were full of bewilderment.
Liu Qing explained with a smile, "It's Zhang Niu and Zhang Ma. The two brothers are planning to move their entire families to Liu Family Village."
"These people are craftsmen and helpers they hired. They want to discuss selecting a site in the village to build houses with me, the Village Chief."
Liu Feng was both shocked and delighted. Light instantly blossomed in his eyes, and a brilliant smile spread across his face. "Really? That's wonderful! With them joining us, our plan really has hope now."
Liu Qing, Zhang Niu, Zhang Ma, and the others gathered together and began discussing things enthusiastically.
Everyone spoke in turn, each sharing his own views, and the atmosphere was extremely lively.
Some suggested building on the eastern side of the village, where there was plenty of sunlight. Others proposed the riverside, where fetching water would be convenient.
After an intense discussion, they finally decided to build the houses south of Liu Feng's home.
It was close to Liu Feng's house, making daily communication between the families convenient and strengthening their bonds. It would also help with the later work of analyzing Soul Skills, allowing everyone to discuss problems and share insights whenever they wished.
"Then it's settled. We'll be neighbors from now on. If anything comes up, we'll look after one another!"
Zhang Niu said excitedly, his face beaming with joy, as though he could already see the wonderful future where they explored the Mysteries of Soul Skills together and improved side by side.
The days passed amid the commotion, and Liu Feng's heart grew increasingly settled.
Every day, he could see the busy figures of the craftsmen and hear the constant clanging of hammers.
He knew a new life was about to begin, and their dreams were drawing closer step by step.
A week later, two new residences had risen beside Liu Feng's home.
The two residences occupied a considerable area. They were grand yet still warm and inviting.
A peach tree had been planted in one courtyard, its tender green leaves swaying gently in the breeze as though displaying the vitality of life to everyone.
A pear tree had been planted in the other. White pear blossoms hung full from its branches, releasing waves of delicate fragrance and adding a touch of romantic poetry to the village.
Looking at the two large courtyards that had risen from the ground before him, Liu Feng could not help clicking his tongue in amazement, his heart filled with shock.
"They actually finished them in only a week!" he silently marveled. As expected of houses built by Soul Masters. Ordinary craftsmen probably could not match that speed and efficiency even if they rode at full gallop.
The Soul Masters used Soul Power to move stone and timber, skillfully manipulating all kinds of materials. Projects that would originally have required vast amounts of time and manpower quickly took shape in their hands.
Once the houses were complete, Zhang Niu and Zhang Ma's families arrived one after another.
Zhang Niu's wife was a gentle and virtuous woman, her face blooming with a happy smile.
Zhang Ma's wife was warm and outgoing. The moment she saw Liu Feng, she greeted him affectionately.
Their shared parents came as well. Though they were advanced in years, they remained vigorous and healthy.
"Liu Feng, we're one family from now on. If you ever need help with anything, just say the word!" Zhang Niu's wife told Liu Feng warmly, her eyes filled with concern and friendliness.
Liu Feng smiled and nodded, a shy smile on his face. "Auntie, you're too kind. I'll have to rely on you more in the future! And if there's anything you need help with, please don't hesitate to ask me."
Liu Feng met Zhang Niu and Zhang Ma's family members, and everyone was very kind. As for the two brothers' sons, they were both studying at the Intermediate Martial Soul Academy in the Ancient Thunder Kingdom, so he did not meet them this time. He could only wait until their winter break to see them.
