Under the lights, fist-sized Black Beetles swarmed forward in dense masses. There were also those little Monsters, barely four feet tall, clutching short spears and making clattering sounds as they charged over in equally dense waves.
The sight made everyone present feel their scalps tingle.
Especially now that the fire-element Ability User who had first been attacked by the Black Beetles was turning black all over and screaming miserably. Within moments of being bitten, his entire body had blackened. Not only had he collapsed to the ground screaming, but he was also clawing wildly at himself. Black, foul-smelling blood began to seep from the skin he scratched open.
