Chen Mo was riding a borrowed motorcycle toward the supply warehouse when he heard the sound of an aircraft overhead.
Looking up, he saw a drone flying above him, its camera tracking and filming him.
It left him speechless and helpless.
Advanced technology really made it uncomfortable to do anything. Back in the day, there were no surveillance cameras or drones, and tracking someone had been difficult.
When it had nothing to do with him, technology was naturally wonderful. But when it involved him, he found all this high tech incredibly annoying.
Modern drone technology had become highly advanced. It could pick out a target from among countless people and vehicles, mark and track them, hover, accelerate, and more. It did not even need human operation; it could function entirely on its own.
Originally, if he could get hold of a car, it would provide excellent cover. But after abandoning the stolen police vehicle, he had not gone on to steal another car.
The main reason was that there were not many cars in Cambodia. If he "borrowed" one, they would definitely be able to identify him quickly.
Besides, Cambodia's road traffic was truly hard to praise. Aside from the traffic in a few major cities being okay, the transportation infrastructure elsewhere was beyond words.
A small number of roads were in good condition, but in most areas, the roads were terrible. The pavement was full of Big Pits inside smaller pits. Forget about speed when driving on them—the passability was extremely low.
Thus, most four-wheeled vehicles in Cambodia were basically battered wrecks. Better cars were mostly found in a few major cities, while rural areas had more large and small trucks.
It was still
