The convoy continued speeding along. After driving for another two hours or so, it finally left the highway and headed south.
Chen Mo took out his GPS and checked it, discovering that up ahead seemed to be Jiang Province's desert region.
Could these people be heading for the desert?
Of course, Chen Mo did not care if they entered the desert. He had all kinds of supplies on him, so even if he stayed in the desert, he would live quite comfortably.
Sure enough, the convoy was heading toward the desert.
Eventually, the convoy stopped in a small town near the edge of the desert to rest, refuel, and replenish supplies.
Chen Mo naturally followed them into town as well, though he remained far from the convoy and began restocking his own supplies.
Although his Universe Bag contained all sorts of supplies, he had not specifically prepared for the desert. Since they were entering the desert, he might as well use this opportunity to get everything ready, so he would not be left scrambling later when he needed something.
Of course, the desert was nothing to Chen Mo and posed no danger whatsoever. To others, the drought, lack of water and food, huge temperature swings, and sandstorms were all serious threats, but to him, they were child's play.
At worst, he still had the Green Jade Sword and could simply leave by Sword Flight.
Still, he had no idea how long he would have to trail these people. Preparing a little more would let him live more comfortably. After all, he was following them to investigate what that item containing Spiritual Energy was, not to suffer alongside them.
Thus, after finding a relatively large supply store in town, he began buying every desert essential in sight!
He even bought a
