The group continued onward. As they ventured deeper into the Miasma Land, they encountered more and more of those red-and-black snakes. The thickest one was nearly ten meters long, about as thick as a person's calf. Its triangular head looked exceptionally vicious, and its long fangs and black vertical pupils were enough to make anyone who saw it gasp in shock.
If not for the tree branches stuck into the ground acting as a barrier, these people might already have been surrounded and attacked by the snakes. Losing one or two people would not have been impossible.
Chen Mo's Spiritual Sense had been constantly sweeping the area within a hundred meters of the miasma, yet he had not detected its boundary at all. It seemed that this miasma covered a far wider area than he had imagined. But how had such a vast expanse of miasma, especially this unusual peach-red miasma, formed?
He was rather curious and wanted to investigate it thoroughly, but after scanning back and forth, he found nothing unusual and still could not determine just how large this patch of miasma was.

Although he could not see the boundary of the miasma, Chen Mo felt that the Miasma Land probably extended only several thousand meters in length, while its width spanned the entirety of the valley.
The reason they had not yet left the Miasma Land was simply because they were moving slowly, especially since the fellow leading the way had to plant tree branches as he walked.
