"Yo, my good disciple, your old man Hiashi won't be coming," Uchiha Jie said, holding a letter and smiling happily.

After waking up early in the morning and tutoring Hyuga Hinata for half an hour, he went out to buy breakfast. When he returned to the hot spring inn, he found a black ninja cat rolling around in Hinata's arms, looking completely entranced.

Seeing him push open the door, the ninja cat leaped up and spoke.

"Yo, little Jie Jie, little Yue Yue asked me to bring you something!" it said, pulling out two envelopes. The sealing jutsu on the envelopes was so complex that anyone would be baffled.

"Alright, alright, I won't have a reply," Uchiha Jie said, taking the letters and waving his hand, preparing to send the messenger cat back.

"No way! The cat didn't even have breakfast before little Yue Yue grabbed it to deliver a message! The cat wants compensation!" It jumped and twirled in front of Uchiha Jie until he walked into the room, then it slowly calmed down.

But when it saw what Uchiha Jie took out, it started to fuss again.

"No dried fish! No canned dried fish! The cat is sick of eating it!" it yelled.

"Little Yue Yue doesn't feed the cat properly! Feeding the cat this stuff every day, the cat wants milk!"

Uchiha Jie took out milk and poured a small bowl for it, while he began to ponder the letters he had just received.

There were two letters. One had a very simple sealing jutsu; he just infused a bit of chakra, and the envelope opened.

The other was quite difficult. He frowned and looked at the ninja cat.

"This one isn't Yue's?" he asked.

"It's little Yue Yue's letter, but the sealing jutsu on it wasn't cast by her," the cat said, licking the milk, carefully making sure not to get its smooth black fur wet.

"Luyu should be very busy lately," Uchiha Jie scratched his head. He knew who would play such a trick on him, but he was more concerned about the contents of the letter.

"Yes, yes, little Luyu hasn't had time to play with the cat lately. The cat can only sleep in her arms at night," the ninja cat said, finishing the last drop of milk in the bowl with a bang. It vanished into a puff of smoke, startling Hinata so much she almost jumped.

"It's fine, it just canceled the summoning."

Uchiha Jie opened the breakfast food boxes one by one, picking out a few items for himself. The rest was all Hinata's breakfast. His little disciple ate much more than Yue did when she was younger.

But it wasn't until Hinata was almost finished with her breakfast that he unsealed the letter and began to read its contents. It was a follow-up to something they had discussed beforehand.

"I'd really like to have a fight with Hiashi and let him see how strong his daughter's new master is," he continued to say with a smile.

Hinata looked up, her cheeks puffed out, a bun still in her mouth. She wanted to say something, but could only make muffled sounds.

"Don't worry, besides Hatake Kakashi, no one else was harmed in this incident," he said, hearing Hinata's sounds and turning his head to explain. "Kakashi has a Sharingan, after all. That's the price of having one."

"This one is for you," he said, taking out another unread letter. It was in Hyuga Yue's handwriting, asking him to deliver it to Hyuga Hinata.

Hinata swallowed the bun in her mouth, cleaned up the table, and wiped her hands thoroughly with a small towel decorated with pink rabbits before opening the envelope.

There was no letter inside, only a few photos. Uchiha Jie only needed to look at Hinata's trembling hands and her unconsciously activated Byakugan to guess the content of the photos.

He quietly walked behind Hinata, placed his hands on her shoulders, and lowered his head to look at the photos in her hands.

The photos were too gruesome; Uchiha Jie himself wanted to blur them.

They were Hyuga clan members who had just finished being punished: Hyuga Toshio and Hyuga Chio.

Hinata turned her head, tears welling up in her Byakugan.

"This is what you want to change, isn't it?" Uchiha Jie's voice was very soft, and the hand he placed on Hinata's shoulder was also light, yet Hinata felt the weight of it all, her small hands almost unable to hold the thin photos.

She gently put down one photo and picked up another.

The person in the photo was Hyuga Yue. Her back was to the moonlight, her shadow stretching long on the ground. The side of her pure white dress was stained blood red, and the ninja sword at her waist was a dark blue mixed with a hint of crimson.

Her gaze was calm, looking directly at Hyuga Hinata and Uchiha Jie through the photo.

In the silence, there was a sudden bang in the room. The ninja cat that had just left reappeared, grinning.

"Little Yue Yue guessed right, you guys were looking at photos, weren't you? How's the cat's photography skill?" It patted its chest with its little paws, only to be grabbed by the neck by Uchiha Jie.

"Is there anything else?" Uchiha Jie asked through gritted teeth, wondering why he had ever summoned such a talkative, foolish cat.

"There really is! There really is!" The black cat's four paws flailed in the air as it shouted, "Little Yue Yue asked me to tell you that although Hyuga Hiashi won't be coming, the Hyuga Branch Family has already begun to act!"

Uchiha Jie let go. The black cat flipped over and landed steadily. It blinked and continued, "She also wants me to tell you that each Hyuga Branch Family member has seven days to act outside the village. If they don't return to Konohagakure within seven days, the Main Family will activate the Caged Bird Seal."

"Little Yue Yue said that with her maneuvering, the Hyuga Branch Family members she personally dispatches will have an extra three to five days outside the village."

"Such a short time, this will be difficult," Uchiha Jie frowned.

What kind of human experimentation doesn't require long-term accumulation and repeated attempts? If the subjects of the experiments were different each time, the conclusions drawn would be difficult to apply practically.

"Little Jie Jie, that's your problem. I'm just the messenger," the black cat grinned, finding great joy in seeing Uchiha Jie flustered.

"Oh, right. The Hyuga family has also offered a very, very high bounty, not just in Konohagakure, but also at the bounty hunter's guild," the black cat continued. "The price is so good that even I'm tempted."

"Alright, alright, I get it. Is there anything else?" Uchiha Jie waved his hand, only to find that the black cat didn't disappear with a bang like before. Instead, it stared at him with wide cat eyes, tilting its head.

"It's the cat's own business," the black cat said somewhat shyly. "The cat hasn't seen little Flower for a long time, and Grandma Cat misses her too."

"Little Flower is helping out by the spring. Wait a little longer, and I'll take you to see her," Uchiha Jie replied with a smile.
