The Evil Orca King had his pride. He was afraid, but that didn't mean he'd let himself be slaughtered. If they had to fight, they'd fight with everything they had.
The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King's memories did include an episode about driving off the Evil Orca King. Ye Wen smiled. "Is that so? You think all this time has made you my equal?"
"Evil Orca King, you really know nothing about power!"
Ye Wen's voice echoed across the ocean, full of authority. He seemed to be trying to persuade him.
"Taking you in as my underling is actually a way of saving your life."
"Saving my life? What do you mean?" The Evil Spirit Orca looked completely baffled.
"I'll tell you the truth. In less than twenty years, you'll die at the hands of a human Soul Master. That person is the Sea God's Chosen Heir. If you follow me, I can keep you alive." Ye Wen offered one last warning.
"How could you know what'll happen in twenty years? Can you see the future? Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, don't try to fool me! Do you think I'm stupid?" The Evil Orca King didn't believe him at all.
"You really are an idiot! You won't listen, so I'll beat you into submission!" Ye Wen couldn't be bothered to explain any further. It was true that this was a hard thing to believe.
But it didn't matter. Whether or not the Evil Orca King agreed, the Power of Soul Beast Master-Servant Contract could still force him to submit. Ye Wen just had to defeat him.
