Background

Tang San grew up in Saint Soul Village as the son of Tang Hao, an alcoholic blacksmith. From the age of four, he cooked, repaired farm tools, and otherwise cared for their household while his father spent much of the family's income on drink. Village adults regarded him as polite, responsible, and exceptionally well-mannered despite his circumstances. 2

Alongside blacksmithing, Tang San cultivated the Mysterious Heaven Skill carried over from his past life. He later maintained a demanding academy routine: dawn training for Purple Demon Eyes, classes, blacksmith work, Master's instruction, and nighttime cultivation. 2 12

He entered Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy as a work-study student alongside Zhang Yang. At the academy, Master discovered that Tang San possessed Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. Personality

Tang San is disciplined, filial, and intensely hardworking. As a child, he supported himself and Tang Hao through household work and blacksmithing while continuing his cultivation without complaint. 2 12

He is also highly protective of confidences and loyal to his companions. Although Wang Sheng presses him for details of Zhang Yang's first Soul Skill, Tang San refuses to reveal another person's private ability without permission. 14

In battle, Tang San relies on planning, multitasking, and improvisation rather than raw strength alone. He repeatedly turns dangerous opponents' advantages against them, including Sea God Douluo Bo Saixi and the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King. 169 227 316
